Not what I expected, Top is Vinyl and not Denim Fabric

Ordered this top for my jeep 08/2020. I didn't have the chance to open it and put it on until now (12/2020) because for family/life issues. Item description states "Black Denim", "includes the top fabric, clear or tinted windows." Key word Fabric, the top in the box is made from a plastic vinyl and nowhere in the listing does it say vinyl. Unfortunately the return window closed in September. I guess I will start checking everything I order from now on as soon as I get it, I've never had an issue with anything i've purchased from amazon until now.
