Cast out of heaven after angering God, Lucifer descends to hell. As she makes her plunge, she comes upon a beautiful young woman at just the right moment. Young, naïve, and perfectly pure, Maria seeks to help the fallen angel but winds up taking in more than she bargained for. Now, with her heart plucked from her chest and her body filled up with Lucifer's angelic blood, she's become the perfect tool in the fallen angel's mission to take over hell. With hands and mouth all over the whimpering maiden, and the eager-to-please sin of Envy at her beck and call, Lucifer will take the crown of hell—and whatever else she desires. But is her drive and fury enough to face the Mortal Sins that rule the underworld or will she fall prey to their demonic yearnings?Bonus Content:Disc 1 - Seven Mortal Sins The Complete Series: Promo Videos Commercials Textless Songs. Review: Seven Mortal Sins: The Complete Series Blu Ray Set - 5 Stars – Sinfully Entertaining and Visually Striking!!! Seven Mortal Sins: The Complete Series Blu-Ray set is a must-have for fans of over-the-top, stylish anime with a bold, unapologetic flair. From start to finish, the series delivers a mix of dark fantasy, comedy, and provocative drama, all wrapped in stunning animation that pops vividly on Blu-Ray. Every frame is polished, with crisp character designs, fluid action sequences, and lavishly detailed backgrounds that make the sinful world of the Seven Mortal Sins come alive. The storytelling is engaging in its audacity. Each sin is explored with personality and flair, balancing humor, intrigue, and conflict in ways that keep viewers invested throughout the series. While the show leans heavily into its provocative themes, it never feels gratuitous—it embraces its own style with a wink, offering clever dialogue, sharp character interactions, and memorable moments that stick. Blu-Ray quality elevates the experience significantly. Colors are rich and vibrant, details are clear, and the animation quality shines in every battle and cinematic sequence. The audio mix is immersive, with dynamic sound effects, energetic score, and excellent voice acting that enhances both dramatic and comedic moments. Bonus features, including commentary and extras, provide insight into the production process and add extra value for collectors and fans who want to dive deeper into the creative world behind the series. Overall, Seven Mortal Sins: The Complete Series Blu-Ray set delivers exactly what fans want: a visually stunning, entertainingly wicked ride full of memorable characters, stylish animation, and bold storytelling. It’s a guilty pleasure done right, and a series that’s easy to revisit again and again. Review: Developed - The art is often a step above, with many character details and locales. It's an imaginative trip, full of references and interpretations. And fan service is there, highlighted by some extreme camera angles, but only light actual sexual acts. Lucifer takes on the sins, battling on their terms. I like the female casting of everyone, and their anime tropes are good assignments. One might expect skulls and death to feature prominently in the subject matter, but that isn't the case. The animation is colorful and creative, and from the first episode it sets a solid vision and tone. Interestingly, the only time the creativity reigns itself in is when it depicts real world locations. It's a good contrast that hit me hard during the music battle, which was building up to be an episode I would hate (not a fan of rap), but I actually got chills in the video destruction of Tokyo. Very well done. Very metal. Weirdly, music begins to fill the episodes from this episode forward. The anime has obviously gotten a lot of polish, moving well from episode to episode, confrontation to confrontation. It reveals background and backstories well too, painting its own interpretations of heaven and hell. Because it's very current, it's a nice connection to contemporary touches like the Internet and the military. It's interesting seeing the human followers, technology and hobbies. So it flows easily from the fantastic to the mundane. The lavish treatment is undeniably good. 5 stars? It hits classic vibe for me because while the characters are awesome right from the start, they still develop. It doesn't stoop to melodrama, and has good punchy points. The end is a bit backstory heavy, but the multiple ends are good. Through events, choices, revelations, the characters develop or, in the case of Lucifer, developed to a satisfying arc. Refreshing take, though it doesn't feel epic enough with regard to the final end, it definitely makes me look forward to a rewatch and a sequel. The series has room to grow, and I hope it does. Recommended.

Great Quality & Beautiful Disc Design
I was really impressed with this Blu-ray! The disc design looks even better than I expected it’s very well done and visually appealing. It works perfectly, and so far everything has been great. I’m looking forward to watching it soon. Definitely happy with this purchase!

New Old Stock
Leftover Funimation (bought-out by Sony/Cruchyroll) title, so the Digital Code is no longer valid. It's an okay series, and I only got this BD set on steep discount. It's probably not one you need to add to your collection if you have a streaming service. It might be a watch only once series instead of a binge again and again favorite. The dub is typical please-hire-a-third-voice-actor Funimation cringe. Plot is typical befriending-a-demon-but-there's-a-catch shtick with a harem of rivals to serialize it.

This anime was pretty great. Lots of fan-service, and a decent story too! The animation style was a bit different than i was used to, but I ended up liking it pretty quickly. The essentials line from funimation was really cheap, and also came with a digital code to watch it online :) I have a yearly funimation subscription already, so I may just gift the code to a friend. Overall a great value!
