iPad OS 13, Brydge Keyboard, Mouse support makes this keyboard worth it!
I’ve had the Brydge Pro for about 2-3 weeks now. I Really like the keyboard and it really turns the iPad into a MacBook like feel. The appearance is really nice and the added weight is expected with a premium style keyboard. I do have a few issues with it though. Upon receiving the keyboard, I had to remove my tempered glass screen protector in order to even use the keyboard. It was such a tight fit with the protector on the ipad wouldn’t seat correctly in the hinges. I contacted Brydge about this and I was told that i could purchase they’re $29.99 screen protector that is “guaranteed” to work. So much for the $20 screen protectors I paid for prior to this purchase. I feel like that should be included with they keyboard at the price point you pay for it. I have not been able to get the Brydge to come up to a full 100% charge even after charging the full 8 hours upon initial use. I’ve gotten as high as 98% and currently it’s at 95% while on the charger as I’m typing this. There’s also some type of black spots as shown in the picture that are on the keyboard. I’m sure it’s just some sort of mass production mishap that doesn’t affect the functionality. You can barely see it but it does take away some cool points for not catching this type of thing in QA. I haven’t tried the usb mode but I’m sure it works just fine. The hinges are very well made and can support the weight of the iPad in most positions until it gets to far back without your hands resting on the keyboard. The rubber feet on bottom are very good at keeping the unit stable on any surface. Brydge did a really great job in designing this unit. I would recommend a second or third generation with trackpad support since the iPad OS is capable of mouse support now. That would be awesome. Other than that, I love my new keyboard!!

Love The Latch Design
If you’re familiar with the older model, you’ll know that the latches that hold the iPad in place were always a problem. Well, Brydge has fixed that. The new design is amazing and using the keyboard is a breeze. I’m loving it. The functionality it lends to the iPad cannot be beat. The weight is substantial and not flimsy, which is probably why it’s so durable. If you’re not familiar with Brydge, they last a long long time.

iPad Pro 11 keyboard case
I purchased this because it had a good rating even if it was the most expensive case. The keyboard is backlit once you find out how to turn it on that being said their user manual is not great. The magnetic back keeps falling off which is really a bad thing. I have not contacted the seller as of yet about this issue, I will. I love the keyboard as it is very much like my MacBookPro. I keys are perfectly spaced and and the shortcuts are as described. So I am not really sure if this is a great value for the money. I like the fact that it is like a laptop and does not tip over or have to pull down a stand like the ZAGG case which I also considered i just wish it had a full snap on back cover. Not many keyboard cases with good reviews available for the new iPad Pro 11. So very limited on being able to have a sturdy case that looks and feels like a laptop. Not sure if i would buy it again.

Not worth it
Bought this keyboard, took it out of the box. Plugged it in to get a full charge on it. The red light went off so I figured it was at 100%, NO I turned it back on and it was already down to 97%!! I didn’t even use it yet! Read other reviews that key strokes were missing when typing. Can not make a phone call to Customer Service you have to email them and they email you back. I asked about the key strokes and the response was that since it is not an Apple product it has these problems. I sent it back and received a refund. A month went by and I gave them a second try order another one thinking maybe that one was defective, NO same issue. Sent back the second. I won’t buy again unless they fix this problem.

High quality, hinge works perfect and doesn't break, light weight, study and feels good!
I use this all the time for working on the go with my iPad and can't say enough nice things. Although I am upgrading to the version with the mousepad soon as it arrives :) The battery could last a little longer; I get about a week or so of use on a charge maybe more but use this thing all day for a ton of typing and use. The hinges are the winner about this device. Many of the keyboards out there only allow you to place the ipad on a flat surface they aren't easy to put on your lap or use at an angle. This you can tilt forward or backward and it stays in place. Not the easiest to get the iPad in and out like some others out there but it is not really necessary 99% of the time! Easy to charge as the port is USB C just like the iPad Pro so when you're done charging your iPad pro you can charge the keyboard too. Only thing I don't like is that you cannot use the keyboard while charging but just take a break here and there while keyboard charges or charge over night; I don't recommend that though to keep battery life perfecto. Many keyboard shortcuts and is more spacious than many other keyboards for iPad out there allowing you to truly type a ton on the go, get this!!!

The (Nearly) Perfect iPad Pro Accessory
This keyboard is as amazing as advertised. I have replaced my 2015 MacBook Pro with an 11 inch iPad Pro while taking online classes and I love typing on a responsive, elegant device. I hate the newest Mac keyboards due to the lack of key response (like typing on a touch screen) and prefer some key travel without. This offers that tactile feedback without the full key travel associated with keyboards of the fruit colored iMac and Dell days of computer hardware. I have used this for an entire day of writing papers, searching for references, applying for scholarships, writing and answering emails, playing a couple of games, cruising Amazon and Groupon, and checking in on the interwebs In general and only been able to drain it down to 57% battery (from a full charge). I was a little disconcerted to get a magnetic protective cover that did not fit my camera bump due to the change to the second generation iPad, so I sent an email to the support team to ask if they had a redesigned cover that I could pay to exchange (thinking I had just had a mental lapse and ordered the wrong model). Within 24 hours I received a response letting me know they had a updated the design and would ship a replacement (free of charge) once it was available. GREAT customer service. I will warn the average user about two aspect to take in to consideration. The first is the weight. The combined weight of the iPad and keyboard make this a bulky package. I like the heft and reality of it, but if weight is a concern, get a MacBook Air or a plastic Chromebook. The second is an odd one to get accustomed to, but not a deal-breaker for me. The keyboard is incredibly responsive over the Bluetooth connection. Except for double letters. If you were to type the word “letter” you would have to hit the T key at least three times to get it to respond or slow down to less than hunt-and-peck typing speeds. Once you are accustomed to it, it is fine, but it does take some time to get adapted. Since the release of this keyboard Brydge has released the same design with an integrated trackpad. Without having that for comparison I would suggest that it might be the only iPad accessory more necessary than this keyboard. Update: I feel the need to update my review in response to recent interactions. I was notified a few weeks back that the replacement magnetic cover would be shipping early the following week. Since it had been a few weeks I checked in to see if there were any updates and received a response the next day that was nearly word-for-word the same reply I was sent on initial inquiry. What I thought was excellent customer service was only an automated response that has not been addressed with any sort of personal response to a direct inquiry. The product is fantastic, but I am much less enthusiastic in my support of the company.

Very heavy
I thought this would be a good replacement for my Magic Keyboard with Canopy case, but I was wrong. It adds considerable weight to the kit and is not as flexible as my prior solution. The key size is also an issue - I have fat fingers and had trouble with the little keys, the Magic Keyboard is much easier for me to use. Also it arrived with a broken key and I tried to get a replacement from the manufacturer for over a month with them telling me it had been shipped several times. I never received it and finally returned the keyboard to Amazon. I guess it might work for some, but not for me!

It will change the way you use your iPad
I don’t usually write reviews but this keyboard has revolutionized the way, and how often, I use my iPad. I have had my Brydge keyboard for over a month I use it daily and have not charged it except for when I pulled it out of the packaging the day I got it. I gave it 5 stars for weight not because it is light because it isn’t. In fact, the weight is perfect to balance out the iPad and make it feel secure. The keys are responsive and the typing experience is superb. The aluminum body and the stiffness of the hinge mechanism gives the keyboard a very high quality feel. My laptop is lonely I’m sure because now I tend to reach for my iPad with the Brydge first. If you have an iPad, you need a Brydge.

Better than the old MacBook Pro keyboard
After 4 months of use I came back to write a review. Really would like to give it a 4.5 star, the only downside is the weight, but, since it needs the weight to hold the iPad straight for a decent viewing angle, can not complain anymore. What I found surprising is the keyboard, I own/owned many laptops (Macbooks, Thinkpads, LGs, Asus), the keyboard is really good comparing to other laptop, if not, on par with Thinkpads, definitely better than the MacBook Pro low key travel keyboard. Initially I thought it won’t be as good as the previous gen Macbooks, until I found the old Macs and gave it a try, it’s even better than the old MacBook Pro!

Bravo.

Bridge keyboard for iPad pro
Very strong item that works well. Simple connection, fitting does not damage screen, illuminated keys are a blessing.

Key cover popped off, rubber pads came unglued.
I am a writer and loved the portability and sturdiness of the keyboard until, about six months after I bought it, it began deconstructing before my eyes! One by one, the rubber pads started coming off the bottom. Then, a week ago, I discovered the cover to the function key had mysteriously popped off and disappeared! I am hoping Brydge will replace these items before I get on a plane in September.
