ProsourceFit Pull Up Bar for Multi Use Fitness & Home Gym Exercise

Very sturdy. I’m 190 and it has no problem holding me up w/o bending or moving.

I’m so pleased with the bar. The bar is self-locked thanks to the simple mechanism of applying force towards both sides of the doorframe, which is wonderful because a stable doorframe is all you need to start your favorite training. Some cracks on my doorframe can be seen in the photos due to the required torque to keep it firmly mounted and they actually cause no harm to the door, at least for me. It comes with two caps and enough screws in case you want to have it mounted fixed on surfaces that provide insufficient friction to hold up or to support greater body weight. Slip resistance? Good, I’m sweaty hands and still comfortably uncomfortable with it, a little bit of off-grip can train your grip. Adjustability? Just as advertised. Weight Support? Not tested beyond 150 lbs, but I believe it will hold up strong under greater load with its solid build. Most importantly, I’m 5’6”, ~ 154 lbs, almost ideal to hang from this bar mounted on a doorframe in my perspective, taller people might struggle to maintain good form between reps. Overall, a must-have for calisthenics lovers.

I don't know how this design is being sold. There's three moving pieces to it and I got the brackets up and adjusted the bar so that is snugly fits the door jamb. The bracket holds up wait fine but the bar keeps rotating every time you're ready to do a pull-up reaching up. I kept testing it out to the point where it kept expanding the bar and it cracked the door frame. The other counter leverage ones may work fine but I just wanted a simple, secure one for my young son and this is definitely not it. It didn't come with directions so I searched online to make sure I do it correctly and sadly, the bar just keeps rotating when you hang on it from your weight to the point that it will break your frame.

I recently installed the ProsourceFit Heavy Duty Pull-Up Bar, and I’m impressed with how straightforward the process was from start to finish. This was one of the easiest fitness equipment installations I’ve done. With a standard drill, a level, and a measuring tape, I was able to get it mounted in under 20 minutes. The pre-drilled mounting holes aligned perfectly, and the included hardware was more than adequate for a secure fit. The instructions were concise but clear, with diagrams that made it easy to double-check measurements and mounting points. I’ve been using it daily for standard pull-ups, chin-ups, and leg raises. The bar doesn’t flex or creak, even during explosive movements. It feels gym-quality in a home setup.

Easy to install good product but would be iffy on persons using it over 190 pounds. Would recommend use for people below 180 pounds.

Wonderful product and works. First of all before installing we had to make sure the door frame was extremely strong and sturdy to hold us up.

Questionable. I haven't done the screw in options but the is a one. Couldn't even old up my two year old for very long. And she just sat in the hammock. I was holding the bar when my 6 and 8 tried to hold onto it. It stayed for a few uses but keeps coming down. I'll give the suction a 1 start but don't know about the screw option yet.

Just mounted the doorway bar. It's solid and heavy. It's better than the bar I had before. This one adjusts on both end. Both end rotate in the same direction so that when the bar rotates both ends will either tighten or loosen at the same time. I mounted it so that the bar would rotate towards me as I hang, and the bar will tend to tighten. There are end caps that come with 4 screws so there's no danger of falling.

I am a big fan of these pull up bars, put them in a doorway you regularly walk through and just hang it feels so good on your back, great for pull ups too ;) I am not comfortable with the big bulky bars that hang off a doorframe as I get nervous they will slip off, these are safe and secure and take up very little space.

Muy buen precio, muy buena calidad. Estoy completamente satisfecho con la compra. Se siente muy sólida la barra y aguanta mucho peso. Incluye tornillos para madera, pero en México es más común ladrillo y cemento. Tuve que comprar taquetes y tornillos adicionales pero bien instalado queda muy firme. Hay que girlarla fuertemente para asegurarla bien a la pared, pero es todo. Muy buen producto.
