Is it spring assisted?

It is not spring assisted, however the ceramic bearings make it almost seem like it is. Extremely satisfying flipper. I get asked about it more than some of the $60-$300 pocket knives I carry. This knife spends a lot of time in my pocket, it’s actually in there right now. ONE OF MY FAVORITES, DEF WORTH THE MONEY!!!

where is it made?

I can find no location on knife, or online. However I believe the answer is China. I'm not a knife or gun snob by any means. Personally I don't really get spending over a $100 for a knife. This knife is about the best knife I've bought at any price, solid, sharp, looks and feels good in hand. So, unless your EDC is used to break into safes or pry car doors open, I think this is a great EDC knife.

Question 3

Screw missing on clip side of knife (opposite from blade when knife opened, i.e., the small one). How can I get a replacement? 100% guarantee?

I had one scale mounting screw either break or back out (and disappear) when the knife was about two months old. Contacted the vendor, he suggested I go to the hardware store to find some replacement.  So, if that's your idea of customer support, then that's what to expect.

Question 4

Anyone know if it has real D2 steel?  Rockwell hardness?

Even if it is lower on HRC than other manufacturers' D2 knives, it is not inconceivable that the knife is indeed D2 or at least compositionally indistinguishable from D2. The hardness is more determined by the quality of the heat treat than the composition of the steel itself. The process of creating D2 is inexpensive nowadays and D2 stock is also inexpensive to buy. D2 still performs acceptably if treated to 58-60 as the manufacturer claims, but is not as resistant to wear from use as you might be accustomed to. However, the experiential difference is negligible for such a small knife. I fail to see why anyone would be doing the kind of high-stress work where these differences would actually matter with a knife of this form factor. The takeaway is that in the current market, if you like how the knife looks, buy it. Even 56 HRC ought to be sufficient for 99% of small knife tasks anyway.
