Grizzly Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil Dog Food Supplement Omega 3 Fatty Acids, 4 oz

Started using this product 3 weeks ago and within 2 weeks, I saw a noticeable difference in our dogs coat! We have a mixed breed that looks something like a min pin/terrier and his coat was dry/coarse and thining along with dry skin. Within the 2 weeks, I noticed his coat was softer/more fluffy and shinier. We had been giving him Melatonin at the advice of the vet and that did nothing for his coat. So this the product we are now only giving him and I'm hoping we'll see some hair growth in the near future. I'll update this review if so. Otherwise, it definitely does the job with producing a more shinier, softer, and fluffier coat. I also do not notice any "fishy" smell on his breath. The oil has a slight odor to it if you smell it, but on his breath- I don't notice anything. I'm back to order more! **One note- the label says for cats. Based on previous reviews, it looks like that's what all the bottles are being delivered as now even if you're ordering it for your dog.

This has been great for my dog. We have a pitbull / boxer mix who has skin allergies. He is sensitive to a lot of crap they put into dog foods, and grass and who knows what. His skin ends up getting dry and itchy. This has been very helpful. We add two squirts to his food every night. He absolutely loves this stuff. We can even give him his little benadryl with just a drop of this stuff on there and he will eat it right up (when he normally pulls them out of what we try to give them to him in. This stuff works really well to keep dogs' coats shiny and looking great. This keeps his skin from getting super dry and flaky as well. Over the past few weeks that we have used this, we saw a big decrease in the dandruff and itching he was having every day and night. Pros: Does a great job at keeping skin and coat healthy, easy to use and squirt into food, dog loves the taste Cons: Bottle is smaller than expected and we are running out much quicker than I thought we would for the price. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who's pup needs help with their coat or skin.

This stuff seems to have worked wonders for my Boston Terrier. He got some rashes and pimple-like things on the lower part of his belly/groin area over the summer. I hadn't changed his diet or shampoo or anything, so not sure what it was, and he's had skin issues in the past that the vet just gave me ointment for, so I figured it wasn't serious, but I didn't want to have to keep going back to the vet. Someone recommended this to me, so I tried it and after about 4 months, his skin has totally cleared up! My dog "free feeds," so I just leave dry food out for him all day and he nibbles at it when he wants. I was a little nervous at first squirting this oil on his food and having it sit out all day, but he still finishes his daily food portion within a day. And the oil doesn't bother him at all, if anything I think he kinda likes it. I keep the oil in the fridge, and whenever I refill his food bowl I add 1 squirt of this and mix it up a bit. My one tiny complaint is that it seems like it is hard to get the last few squirts out of the bottle when it starts getting close to empty. Seems like a waste. But it isn't too bad, and this stuff works so well for us. I recommend it! P.S. I may be imagining it, but I also think this stuff has made his fur softer, less coarse. More cuddly :)

My dog is turning nine this year! She is a 14 lb mix and ALWAYS has been a picky eater. Her skin/coat gets flaky and itchy during the allergy season. I felt so helpless watching her chew her little paws off... so I researched and found Grizzly Salmon Oil. I give it to her once a day mixed with her morning food. I noticed within days her black coat was so much smoother, shinier and she was less itchy. I have used this product for years now. In my opinion, It's not a cure all for dog allergies, (I also us a humidifier in the house, and bathe her every few months in oatmeal shampoo or ground oatmeal if its really bad.) but the grizzly salmon oil definitely does help her. I would highly recommend this product to any pet owner. (Once opened, I keep in my fridge. There is a use by date on bottle) I buy the small bottles.

I got this for my Labrador Retriever Bella. She was around 10 months old when she started having flaky dry skin and her coat was feeling rough and looking dull. She was chewing and stratching at times so bad she would leave bald spots. I thought at first that her flea treatment wasnt working but i couldnt find any fleas and noticed flaky skin (like dandruff). So i did some research and found Grizzly Salmon Oil highly rated. I was reluctant but ordered it. I am SO happy i did. I noticed a big difference within a few days. She wasnt itchy and her coat looked and felt so much brighter and softer. I will aways give her this. It is one of the best things you can give your dog. It has so many health benefits besides skin and coat. You will not be disappointed!

Very easy to dispense,however, this did not agree with my pup. Gave it to my daughter for her large dogs and she loves it. Can’t speak to the taste as I never tried it nor has my daughter. Smell - well it is salmon oil and it smells fishy but not over bearing. My daughter finds it to be an excellent supplant to her dogs food

I trust this brand as I have used this product off and on (depending on the season) for years now. It always amazes me how soft it makes my pup within a week of use. I always recommend it to friends who have itchy, flaky dogs and the effects are wonderous. It’s great for cats and picky eaters as well. The oil itself has a smell but you can’t smell it outside of the bottle. Does not make my dog or his smell fishy at all. I say try it for a few weeks, a pump with each meal, and see what happens. Of course, if your dog is having skin issues, it could be a food or some other allergy that needs to be considered (go grain free!).

I used this product for my two dogs. They both loved it and they have been much brighter since using it. Their coats appear softer and more manageable. I put it down to the salmon oil and hope I am right. Try it and see.

We adopted our cat from the local shelter where he was brought in after being found in the wild. He was in rough shape - a senior cat, he'd obviously been domestic and gotten lost somehow, for how long we don't know. His fur was brittle, dull and dusty and he was covered in dandruff. I bought this stuff right away and started adding it to his food - noticed a massive difference in his coat after the first week. He got shinier, dandruff decreased (though not totally gone yet), and now he has a lovely soft and thick coat and a lot of energy for an old fella (especially at 4am lol). I think this oil is fantastic.

My dog has not been a fan of any fish related dog foods in the past so i was pretty hesitant buying this thinking he wouldn’t eat his current food with this on it, but he absolutely loved the taste. He gets excited when he sees the bottle. Hes been using this for a few days now and has no bad reactions or anything and seems very happy and energetic. I bought this to help with some skin and hair loss issues hes been having but haven’t used it long enough to see any results yet! Will update.

I really like Grizzly fish oil. The pump is easy to use. I keep mine in the fridge after opening and give it a little shake before using the pumps.
