It comes in a cardboard box and when you open that there is a plastic black-rectangular box which hold the Hoppes aluminum cleaning rods(3), patches, and patch attachment for rod, brush for 12 gauge, Hoppes 9, Hoppes lubricating oil. This case isnt great at all/weakly built and my two tabs that hold it together, wont stay and the thing that separates the items inside is a thin plastic mold that is as thick as paper. The patches and accessories are in separate cardboard box's. I recommend it if you need a easy one step shop to clean your gun and comes with all the materials you need to make a reliable/clean shotgun! I recommend getting a tackle box and if you get a different caliber, all you need to get is the brush and maybe patch attachment accessory which will usually be pretty cheap. Also a good tooth brush, nothing too rough(No wire brush or anything that could scratch/cause damage to get into hard spaces and gloves come in handy(no pun attended)lol so you dont leave moister and fingerprints that could possibly cause rust or make all your hard work worthless.

This is a great basic cleaning kit. The included sollutions are very good quality. You can keep your shotgun very clean for years with this.

The materials to clean a shotgun are all there but the storage box is marginal. The tool tray insert is super thin and does not fits the rods if the patch holder/brush adapter is attached. I'm throwing it away. The rest of the box has stiff latches, is pretty thin and the hinge is on the stiff side. It will do for now. The kit is functional but don't be seduced by the pretty storage box. I bought it online so could not see how flimsy the storage box was.

This gets 1 star because it will in no way shape or form clean your barrel. Yes the solvent and lube and cleaning patches are fine but when you put the cleaning rod together and try to run it through your barrel with the patch attached at the end, the patch barely touches the bore. Imagine running a tissue over the receiver to clean it. It'll brush off some settled dust and that's it. And because of that one thing, this kit is totally useless. I suppose you can buy this for the other items but you will absolutely have to buy a Boresnake. Trust me.
