Thin and good for seal lubrication inside a shock or fork. I would not use on axles, headsets, joint or bearings. Get some park tool hpg-1 or Phil Wood waterproof grease for greasing "the bike"

Is there any reason I wouldnt be able to use this on the front fork as well?

sram actually recommends it on the new forks 2019-2020, in addition with a small amount of oil. check out the service manuals and you'll see dynamic seal grease being referenced and not sram butter. Longevity they say is better.
