365 by Whole Foods Market, Organic Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats, 42 Ounce

I decided on these 365 oats because of good ratings from other sources. I was hesitant because of the complains of product arriving with open lids and spilled oats. I ordered a two pack anyway and received it in perfect condition with both lids having extra seals placed over them to ensure that wouldn't happen. Oats are fresh & delicious, I will be ordering again.

The size and texture are perfect. I consider this a great treat for me. Such a great value and high end quality. I have even added this to chili for more fiber and fill. I have also used it in making homemade granola.

The PRODUCT is great. Tastes fine and seems like a good deal. The PACKAGING is awful. I thought I might have better luck getting same day delivery this time, but once again the container was burst open and a ~third of the oatmeal was spilled in the bag just like the first time I ordered it. I see this is a common issue in the reviews. How can this continue? Please fix it. Tape the lid down if nothing else.

I tried quick oats several times and don’t like how they taste. They are more “light.” These old fashioned oats are hardy, they stick to your ribs (old expression) so to speak, meaning they stay with you and keep you fuller than quick oats. They are easy to prepare in the microwave. Don’t stick to the chart on the back, you’ll find you may have to adjust the water and cook time to your liking. One tip is to throw in a pinch of sea salt, it makes these taste better. And what makes these best is that they are organic. They are cut pretty thick so again, they are hardy. Which is good.

This is a good product but I ordered it months ago and it’s still not here. Amazon won’t let me cancel!
