Most ice creams are sweet treats but you could try something with tofu. Tofutti is a frozen product made that way. **Q: how long to freeze canister?** A: Typically 35-45 minutes. The motor will start to slow down as the mixture gets thicker. I would recommend after stopping motor to remove the motor and cover the canister while still in the ice for another 30 minutes. The mixture will still be like a milkshake consistency and should be placed in another container to freeze completely. **Q: 4 options, 6 options. What is the difference?** A: My plastic version lasted 15 years.
