Review: Perfect Replacement - I have a clock that is probably about 50 years old and my husband bought for me. The clock was not keeping good times in the hands were getting bent so I bought this in November 2024, to replace it. It really is not hard to install and it really works great. It gave you a choice of different hands and if I ever need to I would order this one again. The price is very reasonable, and they are quite accurate.

Honestly I wasn't sure whether it would be up to par. Wasn't sure whether it would be as good as the ones I am used to. It's just as good. Works perfectly. Silent sweep second hand, keeps good time and was easy to put into my clock face. The hands pushed into place easily. I tried really had to find something I didn't like (because of my guilt about "cheating" on the other company) but there is nothing not to like about this. It's great. BOTTOM LINE: Absolutely perfect movement, silent, easy to use and seemingly well made.

**Q: I see dimensions for the width and height of motor.  but how thick is the motor ?**
A: It's about 1/2" thick. When you place the hands on the motor, align both of them on the 12 when putting them on the shafts. Then you can adjust the time using the dial on the back of the motor. NEVER try to adjust the time of the clock using the hands. That will break the motor. I liked the choice of different hands. You can pick the hands that you think best fit the size/style of the clock face.

**Q: How do I delete items in cart?**
A: Change the quantity to 0.

**Q: Is the shaft adjustable? I need 3/4" extending from the mechanism. Not including the part inside the mechanism.**
A: I checked mine, I have 1/2" protruding after the mechanism is mounted inside my frame.

**Q: is 9\16 inch unit available if so how do i order?**
A: First put your measurements in your search. These kits come in many different sizes. If you’re looking for a single hand, then state that in your search. Such as : hour hand 16”.

I used this to repair a decorative clock. it was varied enough to accommodate my needs for hand size/thread size and it generally works very well. it was a little fiddly to install in the clock, but that could be MY clock and not the kit, which in general was very easy to assemble. There are enough choices to be very universal for fixing a clock you like that you cannot replace.
