A: Fitment is not the issue.  You can find a place where it will fit.  Most likely it will physically fit in the same place the original one came out of.  What you want to know is will it work.  The answer is yes .  It doesn't care what car or truck it is in as long as you remain in the Earth's gravitational field and under the speed of light.

**Q: Has anyone had issues with the switch tripping during routine driving?**
A: No, I race my car, it has a stiff suspension and I drive on the street quite a bit. No problems at all

**Q: Will this fit a 1987 Ford ranger**
A: It will fit any car that you can identify the wiring for the fuel pump. It can be installed horizontally or vertically. I have mine at a diagonal facing forward so hopefully it will trigger from side impact as well.

**Q: Will this switch fit a 2005 Kia Sorento?**
A: This switch will fit anything. I mounted mine in the trunk by the battery and fuel pump wiring. Your vehicle should already have one from the factory. This is a safety switch to shut off the fuel pump in case of a collision.
