Art of Mana

Pretty good full of glorious art... but JUST shy of Trials of Mana Remake. Dammit! Good book though, quality wise. Although I do hate when illustration books use double spreads for one continuous and glorious piece of art, but that only happens a few times. If you love Mana and its art, BUY THIS BOOK it is comprehensive to its point of release and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the 30th Ann Akira Toriyama Dragon Quest Illustrations book which has a buttload of rare and commonly accessible art missing, massively and shoddy placement and formatting (with much smaller real estate due to the book size itself being significantly smaller dimensions wise), barely any info on anything, just no good. This Mana book is better and has almost the same amount of art content, even though Mana itself has less content to pull from.

Dark Horse Books does a great job of putting together books with game art and concept art. This book looks small, but is actually around the size of a D&D or Pathfinder book. The images are high-quality and the art is awesome, as to be expected from one of Square's greatest series.

Received what I expected ahead of expectations in great shape. Very happy!

It’s a beautiful book that goes through all of the Mana games. There are details about character designs and art I’ve never seen before. There are a handful of small errors in the translation but they’re extremely minor. It even arrived earlier then I was expecting!

Beautiful artbook full of gorgeous full-color illustrations. I was surprised the price was so low for the size and artwork inside. A lot of the games are pretty unknown other than Secret of Mana, so it was wonderful to see all the other games in the series and the evolution of the character artworks and the commentary for them.

Beautiful artwork. Inspirational material. As a Mana Fan you wont be disappointed.

The book is well made and the images are very clear. One of the corners of the book was damaged but overall I am happy with this purchase.

A great book for Mana fans with a lot of history on the series. The comparison art from old to new remakes and interviews are wonderful. A must-have for any Mana fan.
