Susato Oriole High C Whistle

I have a number of whistles from the Waltons to the Carbony. I’ve been teaching my daughter lately and this is the perfect whistle. I also have a low whistle from Susanto- which I find challenging to control, but this high C is perfect. It has accurate intonation. And is not shrill like brass whistles. Easy to play. Shipping was fast. It traveled across the country and arrived in about three days. Packaging was good.

Of a few C whistles I have, this one has the purest tone. I think it's fine for beginners - very easy to get a good sound, not airy. I really like it and will play it often!

Although not for a beginner, this is an excellent whistle. The player does have to work the armature especially in the higher register, but the bright sound and lack of other problems are well worth it.
