Deep Alpha: Brainwave Entrainment Music for Meditation and Healing

Very unusual experience with this CD. It simply would not play in my home CD player when the Sony Stereo is playing all other CDs just fine. Reported this to Amazon and they sent a replacement the next day. Again, the new CD would not play in my CD player. Figured there was something wrong on my end called my son in to help & it played just fine in his car when he "tested" it for me. And! it plays beautifully in my car and on my DVD player AND I love the music!!!! so gentle and soothing to drive with. I give the music and service 5 stars and my poor old stereo 3.5 for not being compatible. I happy to pay for the replacement for the replacement CD since both are now open and the malfunction seems to be with my equipment.

I love this cd. It is very calming and my clients love it. They get very relaxed and fall asleep even when I'm doing deep tissue. It is also the perfect length for an hour massage. I use a cd player because if I have one for an hour I can gage where I'm at and how much time I have left to complete what I need to get done for each client. I do rehabilitative massage so it's not always a full body massage.

Great CD for meditation and relaxation and it is true, there is a different, better quality of sound in a cd than an mp3.

I just have to have music to listen to when I go to sleep. I just can't stand the silence! It drives my wife crazy because the music I have on my playlist sometimes wakes her up in the middle of the night. I primarily have put together a collection of soundtrack music that the "quiet" stuff and more softer pieces...however they sometimes have "bumps" of high energy that can wake you up. So, I've been searching for something that is designed more for those trying to have something to sleep to. You'd be surprised to see that a lot of this "sleep music" is rather annoying and not very good. I finally came across this guy here, Steven Halpern and decided to give it a try. So far it has been great...no complaints from the wife. Every track is very soft and light with no hidden surprises. I can't really comment on much about the tracks other than that honestly. I guess it is because by the time I hit track two...I'm out like a light!

This is very soothing and helps me fall asleep. I put it on when I go to bed and then play it during the night when I wake up and can't fall back to sleep. I generally fall back to sleep within 10 minutes instead of being awake thinking for several hours. I started listening to it (only at night) a couple of months ago and feel like it helps me stay more centered and upbeat during the day too -- although that could be simply because I'm sleeping better!

The different tones are great for getting into an alpha state and meditating

Steven HALPERN ou Mister "Rhodes" (le clavier principal utilisé dans ses compositions) propose des mélodies adaptées à la relaxation "Alpha" à savoir, le calme et la douceur... avec une technique d'entraînement/synchronisation "Alpha" basée sur les sons binauraux... Enfin cela n'importe peu, puisque la musique reste accessoire pour ce type d'exercice... Bonne écoute...

I have several of Steven Halpern's cd which I use for healing, meditation and relaxation, he is definietly my most highly rated sound healing composer. This cd is very relaxing and really helps to put you into an positive state of awareness and healing, all the tracks are slightly different and seem to resonate with different areas of your thoughts. I find I progressively become more and more relaxed as the tracks play through, perfect to listen too if you've had a bad day, or are feeling stressed or worried in any way. Would highly recommend
