We use this for PTO events at the school . It works great.

I use ready made popcorn packages which are 8 oz. When ordering the machine it was difficult to determine what size I needed. I had an older machine that had to be returned to it's owner. I failed to measure it's dimensions so I went with the 10 oz. kettle. The machine I bought is smaller but easier to transport and carry. I can carry the new machine and lift it easier than the older one, so I am glad for that. The machine worked as expected. No burning. I am use to operating this type of machine so as the popcorn pops and the lids lift up, you should tilt the kettle towards the end of the popping so new kernels can be popped. Someone with large hands would find it difficult to scoop the popcorn into bags, so that could be a draw back. I use it to make popcorn at festivals. It fit perfectly on the folding table and drew people to the booth since people could smell the popcorn several booths awayi. A great feature is that the kettle is removable after use which makes for easy cleaning. The old machine did not have that feature. The glass is much easier to clean than plastic. I did not rate the flavor because the machine does not determine that. If your are burning popcorn, it is a human error, not the machine's.

Great machine. Does what I would expect. My only complaint is that the glass door is about 3/4 inches too short allowing popcorn to come out the top. Hinges are not adjustable (as far as I can tell.)

Bought this a while ago, finally getting around to a review. I have been wanting a popper like this a long time. My husband bought me a smaller version of one several years ago, but it turned out to be garbage. The kettle was too small so the popcorn always got stuck in kettle and wouldn't pop or spill out, as well as the construction of it being poor. I searched for a reasonable one for a long time before I found this one. So far I absolutely love it. I buy the prepackaged popcorn and seasoning and oil to go with it.Just makes everything easier and tastes like theater corn. I eat a lot of popcorn so this makes a good size bowl for me and then some for the rest of my family to fight over. Honestly I usually make 2 batches because it tastes so good once they smell and taste it everyone wants more. Don't get me wrong. I love old school stove popped too. You can make it that way as well. But, if I decide to break this bad boy out, it's movie style for me! Of course it's a bit of a project to clean up but not that bad. The kettle unplugs so you can take it out to make clean up easier. I think you'll be happy with this popper!

Okay, I might be bias because I just love popcorn so much but I am seriously loving my new popcorn machine! Here are some pros: set up was extremely easy (no tools needed), clean up is easy because you can take things apart, overall look is adorable. Cons: the metal door was bent and likes to come out. I kind of just used a hammer to bend it back but it's not the biggest issue and still giving this machine a five star. I had an 8 oz popcorn popper for many years. It finally died. I could have paid to fix it but I decided to get something just a little bit bigger. I set this one up and popped some popcorn. It kept getting stuck and burned two batches. I decided to go out and buy new kernels and oil. I tried it a couple more times and it still burned. Yes, I read and followed the directions. This machine can not handle a cup of kernels, even though the instructions said that it could. I could have saved a lot of money just fixing up my old machine. It was a champ.

Been a favorite for guests during get together and movie nights over here! Gives a fun look and stuff.
