I've had two different sizes, all put in a screen in a window for use by cats. They are easy to install...there is two "pieces" to this, a front and a back. You take your screen out and lay the back piece under it and the top piece over it and then smash it together with a rubber mallet. Each piece grabs through the screen to the other piece. Then take a kitchen knife and cut three sides so it will swing. I would advise putting it closer to the edge/frame of the screen for more support as all that holds it upright is the screen itself. Each one I've had has lasted for years. On one of them, the black plastic piece that is the "hinge" at the top, eventually started to tear and the flap part started to sag on that side so that's why it was replaced. While I have dogs, I can't see this working for a dog flying outside at high speed, as mine do, as again, it's held in place by nothing other than the screen and I just can't see screen taking that type of abuse. All that's in the center four squares is your screen, so the cats can see inside before entering/exiting and I've had no problem with them learning to use this. Review: Works great after using more zip ties - This product was pretty simple to install. I did it on my own, and the only tools I needed was a rubber mallet and box cutters. I removed my sliding screen door from the door frame and placed it flat on the ground. I followed the directions included and was all finished in about 10 minutes. My only worry was that the small pins connecting the two pieces of the gate would easily come apart over time. Even though these pieces were secured using a hammer or mallet, I knew those small pins would give at any moment. I was correct. Even after apply the zip ties that were included, the corners started to become detached. This did not impact the functionality of the product, but it didn’t really look that great, as it looked like it was falling apart. So, luckily, I had some extra zip ties which I secured to the gate. In total, I used 8 zip ties. Now that the gate is secured, my English Bulldog and Yellow Lab have loved the access this has granted them. No more waiting for me to open the door for them. The only concern I have would be for standard mesh screen doors. The mesh I have on my screen door is very heavy duty, and hold up fine with heavy traffic passing in and out of the dog gate. But I don’t know how the standard mesh would hold up. Overall, this is a great product that will provide in-and-out access for my dogs for years. However, I question the quality of the pins used to secure the two pieces (front and back) together, which is why I give this product four stars.

As long as you don't count on the snaps holding through your screen it's a fair plastic door. Had to bolt it together as other had described.. UPDATE after continued use this thing is junk. I contacted the seller and the seller has stated this is past the 30 day guarantee. Which it is. Don't but this product you will not be supported by quality or service.. This is the cheapest product I have ever bought from amazon. Reading the past reviews I expected to reinforce the doggie door flap, but the plastic is breaking and will no longer stay together. If the seller won't stand behind the product stop selling it. NOW I HAVE A HOLE IN MY SCREEN THAT I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING WITH. THANKS

Great window screen pet door
Goes on very easily. Works great for my cats, but had to move it from my kichen because my dogs started using it It's a little larger than a notebook. Swings in and out for easy pet access. I would recommend.

works fine, but expect to add additional bolts to secure.
have been using for about a month now, works fine. we tried to avoid adding bolts to hold it, and instead glued it as we were putting together. this didn't end up working for long tho, so like many people we added small bolts/nuts at the edges to keep it secured. we are using this with the extra strong pet screen too, it's thicker and stronger than standard screen, so it was harder for the little pegs to go thru and clasp. We installed right in the lower corner so hopefully there won't be any sagging issues. our pit/corgi mix and chiweenie are enjoying the freedom to come and go. :)

The door was very easy to install
The door was very easy to install. Like the other reviewers I put a few screws in just to keep it together. Overall it works great and has lasted almost 2 months without any problems. It's a great way to add a doggy door into a sliding screen door.

This has worked out great for me
This has worked out great for me. I did take tips from other reviewers and supported the door with some small bolts.

It's a sturdy plastic but there's no instructions on how to install it. I also didn't realize the swinging door is attached by hard plastic that's not very flexible which makes going through the door a little difficult.

This is the 3rd door of this style I’ve installed and they work great. I like that they are simple to install, no special tools needed. Put one half of the door on one side of the screen and the other half on the other and connect them together. Cut open the screen where indicated and that’s it. I recommended mounting the door as low as possible which reduces some of the stress on the screen. My dogs run through the door and over time the screen gets worn out well before the door. Basically I just replace the door when my screen needs replacing. The one thing to watch out for is the magnet falling out from the base of the swing door, they’re suppose to be glued in but they do come loose. You don’t want to lose these as this is what holds the door shut. Mine was missing a magnet so the door swings more than usual before staying shut and this is the reason for only 4 stars.

Works good - just hard to get it centred so door doesn’t scrape on either side of frame. But overall works good.

Dog door was not lockable as advertised. easy to install. Zip ties are a band aid fix if the doors are not installed properly, I did not use them . No way to take door off if you glue it in place as described in instructions. I would have used screws in its production and stainless steel hinges not plastic ( very small ). I recommend putting in pet mesh in the door and screen in case your pet puts a hole in a regular screen because of the glue in instructions. Pet mesh would hold up better. Time will tell for value for money. Seller read my comments , sent instructions on how to lock the door . "tabs" that you cut off the frame are later used and inserted in the bottom of the door to lock it to the frame ( who knew ?). These instructions were not in my package.

The doggie door in the screen meant that we could keep the screen door closed. Previously, Koko would not stay outside if I shut the door. We had lots of flies as a result. Now that she can come and go as she pleases, we can keep the screen shut and have way less flies to deal with.
