It works flawlessly!
I have an old Bose speaker system designed for the old iPod, which we haven't used in years due to the advent of Spotify, Pandora, etc. So there's this very nice Bose speaker which we never used, even though we'd like to have a portable speaker system to use with our phones. I stumbled across this little device and decided to give it a try, rather than having to buy another expensive bluetooth speaker system. Voila'! Plug and play was simple, paired with our phones, and great Bose sound quality again, after years. Highly recommend this product!

Such a cool little device, wish I had found it sooner!
This thing is pretty freakin cool! We had this old speaker that was nice quality but no longer have any devices that connect to it. After some quick research when we were doing a purge this item popped up and saved the day! Connects quickly and easily, and the sound is fantastic! Sometimes bluetooth or connection devices don't offer the best sound quality, but this sounds like the device is connected right to the speaker! Technology like this is rad!

Good customer service
Using with an Ihome speaker with an iPad 30 pin male plug. I noticed a high pitch pulsing noise while playing music from my iPhone. I sent an email to the seller (in China). They responded very quickly with suggestions to remedy the problem even though it was past the return period. The suggested remedies didn’t work. They asked for a video so that they could hear the problem. Once again, very quickly, they advised me that a replacement was on the way (from China!). The new unit arrived in about 10 days and worked fine. I didn’t expect this kind of customer service. This is the reason for the 5 star review. The adapter works well. Controlling the volume via the iPhone works best to eliminate any interference.

Works well and great customer service
I bought this so we could use our old sound dock. The one I received just wouldn’t work so I contacted the manufacturer. After making a few suggestions that made no difference, they sent me a new one. I didn’t request it, they just sent it. It came quickly and works perfectly. Excellent sound and very simple to set up. I was very impressed with the rapid response from customer service and their desire to fix the problem.

Works very well
This device took the ole Bose out of the dark ages and made it great again. I have no complaints about it at all. Some newer Bluetooth devices auto-connect when one is in proximity and this one doesn’t. That may be useful for a car, but since I’m using this at home, I don’t want my phone auto-connecting each time I enter the house. Perfect for me and works as advertised.

No return refund!
So, if you don't have to return the item if it doesn't work, you probably shouldn't have ordered it in the first place. I don't know why this DocklinQ would not work. Says it's compatible with my IHome iD8, but after connecting for about 2 seconds, it drops. So, basically, it is a worthless piece of plastic that of course, is NOT made in the USA. I will search to see if one is made in the USA, but I thought I already did that. Oh well, I guess you get what you pay for....

Save the Bose!!
I have been using these Bose speakers for at least 20 years with ancient iPods and everything has worked fine until this week. Suddenly, the iPods were not functioning with the speakers anymore. (I have 2 systems in my small home, one in the living room and one in my studio, and both include one old Bose speaker and its iPod buddy). I was distraught. The iPods must have become obsolete on June 15, 2024, but nobody told me! 😭 My son said I should just go with the flow and get some new equipment. I’m on a fixed income and hated the thought of parting with my old Bose speakers anyway. So I stumbled on these adapters on Amazon, read the reviews, ordered one, and it arrived in two days. The set-up was easy. I just switched on the Bluetooth setting on my iPhone and selected the music I wanted to listen to. The beautiful sound came right up! When is anything this easy anymore? I had a little scratchiness on symphonic music at first, so I blew some cold canned air onto the pins on the speaker to clean them, and that helped. I think that very complex music was affected by the very-used condition of the connection pins on my speakers. Some reviewers said that their volumes were low, but mine is fine, and I oughta know since I am hard of hearing. Honestly, I am just so happy to have music back in my home. I ordered the second one right away, and it was just as easy to set up and also sounds great. Thank you to whomever invented this for us old Bose lovers. Save the Bose!
