Does it brown the waffles evenly?

NO! I tried all browning settings....uneven and never really crisp. I have been cooking waffles for 50 years so I tried this as a replacement for my defunct old waffle maker. I'm returning it!!

will it work for 220 volt wiring?

This appliance, in the same model, is offered in Latinoamerica too. So it should work at 220 V too

what is diameter of waffle?

Once cooked, the waffles are about 7 inches in diameter.

I've only used this waffle iron twice. Both times the temperature dial gets so hot I can barely touch it to adjust the shade. Is this normal?
