Top Rated? .....sure (wink wink)
Though I've only been wearing knee system for 1 day, I can honestly give my opinion of it. The copper nylon sleeve is a waste. I ordered a large to make sure I had a snugger fit but after walking around in it for 15 minutes, the sleeve was around my knee cap. The rubber round grips on the upper part of the sleeve did nothing to keep it up 5 inches above the knee. The patellar knee strap does support the knee as it should. That alone is worth the purchase. I was able to perform power squats without my knee popping or cracking due to the bone on bone in my knees (tore all the cartilage in both knees playing football in high school). If the sleeve worked and fit as described then maybe I could give it a 5 star but DashSport really let me down with this system. Update: Since the review I have been contacted by the co-owner of the company and was asked to give my review of the product. I did. He seemed generally concerns and furthermore refunded me my money and told my to pass the sleeve on to someone who might be in need of it. He also sent me a smaller size to see if that would solve my issue with the sleeve for FREE! Great personal customer service right there!!! He also emailed me to make sure I received the replacement and if that fixed the issue. I can say that for me it did. Now the sleeve still doesn't stay in place on my thigh but it doesn't slide down as much as the large did. So my advice would be to go 2 sizes for a better fit.

The best possible idea
I favor my right knee, so while my left knee has hardly any stress put on it, my right knees takes quite a beating. I work a warehouse job where I'm doing the equivalent of jogging for 10 hours a night. I'm on my feet the whole time and moving at a joggers pace while picking up and moving items, so it's like jogging with weights for 10 hours, that's a lot of physical stress. I'm only 22, and I figured that I can handle it now, but the stress and pain that I can feel in my knee will only get worse as I go on.I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews, and this was the product that stood out and also had the best reviews. (basically all of the one star reviews I could find were only left because of late delivery or a damaged item, which is all on Amazon, it's not the manufacturer) I also wanted something that wouldn't be restrictive. There are those bigger braces, but they're bulky and restrict movement, and with the pace I have to keep, it would only end up stressing my knee more because of the increased effort. I also needed something that did the job though, the problem with the copper compression sleeves is they fail to provide the necessary support, but they help alleviate pain, keep your muscles warm, and that's all while not inhibiting movement. For this product, that's where the patellar support strap comes in! The support strap provides the right stress/pain relieving support without making it hard to move. My knee feels better than ever, and if this one wears out (it hasn't shown any signs of wear after 2 weeks of use) I'd buy a new one. This is the only product that I can really see working for someone who's particularly active. Definitely recomended! Ohh, and how they say if you border the top of a size to get a size up, I followed that advice and it was great advice. Getting the size up, it's still tight (but not too tight so it hurts) but it fits and does what it's supposed to do. If I got the size down, I know this would cut off circulation, it's definitely tight, so a size down would definitely be too tight.

Great knee Support but be wary when choosing size!
I've been running full time for a year and purchased this item back in July after dealing with a knee injury for months. The inside pad (Red) is very comfortable on the knee and is holding the tendon in place. There's no discomfort when switching paces and I can go for miles without noticing the pain at times. However, be sure to pick the size! Before purchasing, I've measured the circumference of my thigh which came about 17 & 1/2.Picking the large size seemed to be the ideal choice at that time. When I wore the band the first time, the tips of the straps were touching each other but I didn't pay any mind since it fitted anyway.Losing weight over time, the sleeve was adjusted to stay until it couldn't anymore. The traps are now on top of another and barely hold in place; constantly re-adjusting them eventually wore the Velcro out.Size does really matter; I should have chosen the medium size for tight-fitting than comfort.Nevertheless, I am content of the band as it did its job; I ran for months without the pain being an annoyance.I will purchase another one, with the proper size this time, and recommend this item to anyone dealing with knee problems.
