I was skeptical of this little fan. But, was happily surprised to find that: A) it charged fairly quickly. (In comparison to other units). Just a couple of hours plugged in and I had a full charge. B) it definitely moves air… even on low! The three settings were perfect and on high it provided enough breeze through my tent to offer some relief from an 85 degree night and 80% humidity that was miserable without it. C) The light is perfectly bright! It is a more “blue” light than yellow, but it lit up the tent while providing a much needed breeze D) It runs while charging! A lot of models will only charge or run. This will do both. I connected it to my portable battery and successfully charged while running both the light and the fan on high. E) its run time is around 6-8 hours depending on setting. If the light and fan are on high, expect the lesser of the two. If the light is off and fan on low expect closer to 10. Either way, after running the light on high for about an hour and then the fan by itself, it did not lose power completely and shut off for about 7 hours. F) it’s quiet! No “hum” or “buzz” just the sound of moving air. G) Well made, adjustable to any direction, and stays where you put it. H) Compact in size. Which concerned me at first. But its size is just right and its weight is light. Perfect for hanging in the tent 5 stars and zero complaints for the price… it’s exactly what we needed.

This is a neat little fan but I do recommend getting 2. The fans air flow is surprisingly good given the size of the fan. The fan is not large at all but it get's the job done. It does not take long to charge and it comes with air filters. We opted to not use them. We went camping last month and the heat was brutal and it took a while for it to cool down after sunset but this little fan was a life saver. We hung it in the center of our tent by the built in hook and pointed the fat down on us and it kept us cool. It also has a powerful little LED light that comes in handy so you can turn it on and get your lantern. I deff recommend if you are sharing a tent with a friend or significant other that you get two fans. Again the fan is small but don't let it's size fool you it is a powerful and worth every penny. Its compact size does not take up much room if you are backpacking and it is light as a feather.

I bought this fan a little of two years ago and have used it for so many different occasions. Initially bought for camping, it is great due to its size and the hook on the bottom which makes it very convenient to attach upside down. The quality build is solid and I’ve dropped it a few times too and it’s still holding on. The battery is amazing. I use it as a desk fan sometimes and I forget to turn it off and let it run overnight and even after two years of daily use, this thing still holds an excellent charge. I really like the fact you can plug it in and charge at the same time. Micro USB is fading out and I hope they make one with a type c on the upgraded model, but this still works great. The lights are bright and have different settings. Pretty basic and haven’t had any burn outs or issues. The noise level is very acceptable. I mainly use it on low, but it definitely gets noisy on full power. For the quality, battery life, noise level, and price, this is a solid purchase and recommend this little guy. You won’t regret it!

I want to start off by saying that I am not getting anything in return for this review. With that said, I am someone who relies heavily on reviews when I am purchasing a product. The reason I can only give this fan four stars is because of the LED charging light. This fan is absolutely amazing. I can charge it fairly quickly and then have it running on medium speed essentially almost all night. The key word in that sentence is night. My biggest complaint about this fan is the extremely bright blue LED charging light. I use this at night time, when I'm sleeping, and all I can see is the bright blue light. I have to go out of my way to cover it up just so that I don't have it blinding me while I'm trying to close my eyes and rest. As for the durability of this product it is absolutely top notch. I have dropped it, accidentally kicked it, laid stuff on top of it, sat on it once, you name it and it's still going. I would hands down purchase a lot of these and be a customer for life, if they would change where the light is located. It's extremely durable the airflow is amazing, if you are within probably the 3 to 5 foot range of this product. I do love the clip/hook that you can use to hang it in a tent or hang it in a car, essentially connect it to anywhere. I love how easy the light settings and the fan settings are to operate. It is a very simple but powerful product, extremely durable with just one flaw.

Awesome fan. It really cools, it is quiet, and the battery lasts a long time between. The company, Amacool, is fantastic to work with if you have any issues -- top notch support. This little lightweight fan saved my butt during hot, muggy camping -- I was cool enough to fall asleep without any problem! Highly recommend.

Use this for camping and bedside table. Not to bulky and the 3 levels of speed are great for such a small item. Only downside is the little blue operation light when it’s on, so we stuck some tape over it and no light. Well worth the money and recommended

Ive used this twice now for 4-day camping trips. It's been great at night in the tent to help keep me cool but also keep any pesky mosquitos away from my face at night (they hate moving air). It was too heavy to hang from my tent but I just prop it on a tote close to my bed and it's great. The light isn't too bright but its a good ambiance when changing or reading.

I don't know if I got a defect but I bought this because it was mentioned the battery life is good. It just lasted us 2 hours on high unfortunately. The fan speeds are good and the led doesn't depend on the battery but still I wish it lasted us at least 5 hours cause 2 hours in, it got too hot without it

I'm so impressed with this fan! The battery life is great, it is light and portable and most importantly it is REALLY powerful for the size. I'm on meds that make it difficult to regulate my temperature so this was a welcome addition to our household and it was thoroughly put to the test in the hot weather at Glastonbury festival: it survived being shoved in my bag each day and you can really feel the breeze it creates even outside. I also use it on my desk and in the car to keep the dog cool - it is easy to turn and adjust to the right position and the hanger is a bonus. The three settings allow you to choose a comfortable setting for you, and the torch setting is handy too. I've actually bought a second one so my partner has one too! Only tiny thing to note is that ours differ slightly from the product pics here in that rather than saying the brand name on the front there is a picture of a cloud with a face blowing air (which we prefer so are very happy with!) 10/10 - couldn't ask for more!!
