A: It takes 3xAA batteries.  Not included.

**Q: Can you connect it to portable speaker?**
A: Don’t know.  Not sure where one would attach a portable speaker and why there would be a need for one.   Game only works if you are less than 30 feet away

**Q: Anyone else having issues with game saying we moved when we aren’t moving. It worked great the first day, the second day of playing it kept going off?**
A: Yes we even set it in a room by self no one there and it picked u movement. Watched on camera and it is always red-light. We adults tried it no one moving and it red-light no fun
