It’s have been my favorite “ramen” noodles for over 25 years! I have not been able to find these here locally past several years and was so happy to see them on here! If you only want to sample it first rather than buying a huge box, they sell separate packages here on Amazon. BUT for best results and savory flavor, don’t follow the package instructions! The 2 cups of water is too much and makes the soup & noodles a little bland. I use 1-1/2 cups water ... taste soup as it cooks and if It’s too salty for your liking simply add a little water tablespoons at a time - you can always add water but if it’s too bland you’re stuck with it. ALSO- I add the soup onion oil flavor packages right at the beginning and not at the end ... that way the flavor “cooks” into the noodles. The cooking time IS correct however -it’s done in about 3 min and any much longer the noodles will be mushy. My favorite way it to crack open an egg at the beginning when it starts to boil - don’t stir! - and you have a nice soft boiled yolky egg at the end ... for this a nonstick pot works best so the egg doesn’t stick to sides or bottom. You can also add won bok (Chinese cabbage), thin sliced meat, shrimp or whatever you prefer ... aLoHa :-) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So happy to find this again! *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2019* Our family has always kept this rice noodle based ramen in our home for about 14-15 years. I used to order it online from an Asian grocery in CA by the case. They closed and I was not able to find anymore--have looked and looked--and was under the impression it was not made anymore. We were THRILLED when we found this again and a little leary, but turned out to be very fresh. The noodles were encased with an additional cellophane wrap (hasn't been the case in past) and all the oil packets with the onion bits are very clear and fresh looking. (Often times in the past the oil packet would be murky, but not the case here). Don't eat all the time because I know MSG is not good for you, but when we do have ramen I want it to be this. I add a little fresh ginger, sliced mushroom, and whatever green leafy I have (bok choy,kale, etc) and the slices of the fake crab sticks--absolutely delicious!
