I ordered this for use when grinding my stained glass pieces. It is perfect. I can wear my glasses under the shield and the cover is very clear. Perfect for my use.

I bought the Sellstrom Advantage Face Shield for yard work - mainly weed-eating - and it’s been great at keeping debris off my face. The overall design is solid, and it’s surprisingly lightweight, so it doesn’t feel bulky or get in the way while I’m moving around. The shield offers good visibility, though it can fog up a bit from your breath during use - nothing major, but something to note if you're working in humid or cooler conditions. My only real gripe is with the plastic connectors that hold the shield in place. They occasionally pop open while I’m working. I’ve never lost the shield, but I do have to stop and reattach it at times, which is a bit annoying. With a little improvement in that area, this would be a 5-star product. Still, for the pr ice and protection, it’s a solid buy and does exactly what I need it to do.

Bought this face shield to use in a medical setting (outpatient clinic). The plastic crown and ratchet headgear was surprisingly lighter than expected, the fabric padding on the headband also helped with comfort. I was able to wear it for a full day of clinic while wearing a surgical mask beneath without any problems. The face shield was crystal clear (must remove protective covering from both sides of the shield before first use) and there was no fogging (have had this problem with other face shields, no anti-fogging fluid needed so far with this shield). Ratchet headgear allows faceshield to be easily raised and lowered if needed, the whole apparatus also easily loosened or tightened for a comfortable fit with a few simple turns of a knob in the back. Space beneath the face shield feels roomy and not restrictive. All around coverage feels very safe and adequate. Would recommend this for anyone looking for an affordable and comfortable face shield to wear for many hours in a clinical setting.

I'd rather risk the sparks in my eyes than to deal with this joke. Cheap quality and design. There are 2 loose knobs that hold the shield to the frame that are worse than useless. They don't stay in place, regardless of what you're doing. You can leave the thing sitting on your bench and it will have fallen apart by the time you come back to it. The shield is also angled away from you as it goes down (as compared to 3M and other versions that are straight up/down). This makes for a large gap between the shield and your chest, so sparks/debris easily get under it - which is WAY worse because it bounces around inside. Real talk though, the shield has an evil soul living within it whose mission is to find the most inconvenient time to unhook itself and fall out of the frame. This happens regardless of whether the shield is up or down, you take 10 seconds or 10 days to reattach the frame, or you're standing completely still or running from the police. One night it crawled into my bed and put itself on my face just so it could fall off for no reason.

There are many ways to go to the emergency room. One way you definitely don't want is with a facial injury from a cutting wheel that was spinning at 13000 RPM when it exploded and sent chunks of material into your head. There is nothing remarkable or exciting about this face shield. Its strong enough to deflect materials away from your face and its comfortable enough to wear for long periods. The build construction feels a bit cheap but at this price point it has to be. The only thing that really matters is its rated for ANSI Z87.1+. This is the standard at which eye protection is judged to protect. The only annoying thing I noticed was the shield would not reliably stay in the up position when wearing it. Maybe this is a design feature to make your wear it more. Don't risk your modeling career and get a face shield!

Me gustó mucho la calidad del protector. La mica muy cristalina (hay que retirar los plasticos que la protegen) y el filo de aluminio le da mucha firmeza. El soporte para la cabeza igual muy solido y de calidad. Todo de plastico pero de muy buena calidad. Se siente muy firme y te protege bien toda la cara. Muy recomendable.

It arrived with minimal packaging - in a plastic bag. I like that I didn't have to toss a pile of packaging that was bigger than the item itself. The polycarbonate screen had a layer of protective film on both sides. Easy to peel off. And then super easy to assemble onto the head set (and easy to subsequently remove and replace). The head set adjustments are intuitive, and easy to make it a comfortable fit. Clear vision with no distortions, and I feel comfortable to grind, sand, saw and drill without fear of facial or eye injuries.

Overall, it was acceptable as a face shield, it flared out on the sides a bit but that was the design of the helmet and how the shield fit with it (acceptable); there were two plastic films protecting the shield - one is easy to take off (the one with words) the other plastic film was more difficult to remove - if you don't remove it the shield is blueish blur - you need to pick at it otherwise it will not peel off. Better instructions needed on the removal of the plastic film covering the shield or at least make it more obvious that the other plastic film is meant to be removed. Comfort level of the helmet is okay ; the shield covers the front and side of the head.
