Great value for a beginner electric guitar
Bought this for my son for Christmas and he's starting out on the electric guitar and it's a bang-up job for the price you pay and everything you get for your money; it's a full starter kit and it's a great, great deal especially when a youngster is trying to learn to play, this has everything you need to learn the guitar, tune the guitar and play; but I definitely recommend to anyone who wants a decent guitar and wants to learn how to play this is a solid piece, It tunes easy it performs very well and the sound quality coming out of the amp is wonderful especially for the price the value is unbelievable.

*updated* - very satisfied. Originally - Great value, but needs 'setup' before it is 'playable'
***update** Donner reached out to me and apologized multiple times for my experience. They stated that each guitar undergoes quality control and setup prior to leaving their factory, but occasionally something happens during shipping from China that may cause it to require an adjustment (very small %). Based on other reviews, I am inclined to believe this and I must have just been one of those unlucky ones (5% of reviews at 1 or 2 stars vs 91% at 4 and 5 stars). Anyway, Donner did make things right and truely did want ensured their guitar performed properly. Once again, when this guitar is set-up properly, it is phenomenal for the price...definitely hitting well above its price point. I would recommend. Orig review: Bottom line - good set for the money, but guitar needs a good setup before it is 'playable'. If you don't know how to do this yourself or have a friend who can do it, you'll need to spend a bit more of money before it sounds good. I'm getting back into guitar after more than a decade hiatus and decided to treat myself to an electric guitar. As I play solely for my own enjoyment, I didn't want to spend a ton of money. I saw this kit and decided to give it a try, as it included everything I needed - guitar, apartment sized amp, cable, capo, and tuner. The guitar actually seems to be very good quality, especially considering the cost. It probably could have gone for this price by itself, let alone as a kit. The amp, capo, cable and tuner are all sufficient and work well for just playing at home. The neck feels very good in my hands and the edges of the frets are all nicely polished - no sharp edges. The neck was also right where it should be and didn't require any adjustment to the truss rod. HOWEVER...this guitar wasn't really playable right out of the box. The action was way to high and both the nut and every bridge saddle needed adjusting. Out of the box, you could get it well tuned when all the strings were open (or with just the capo and no chords). Unfortunately, whenever you pressed down on the strings at any of the frets, it immediately became sharp and sounded out of tune. Stick the capo on without retuning it and all strings became sharp...and unfortunately not to the same degree. After spending a couple hours filing each groove on the nut and adjusting every saddle (both the height and moving most of them back), my guitar was finally properly set-up. Now that it has been properly adjusted, this guitar plays great and I'm very glad I ordered it. Does it sound and play like a professional multi thousand dollar guitar? Of course not. But for my purposes and for it being an inexpensive entry level guitar, I am more than happy with it.

Very good p-bass
School teacher here. This is an excellent instrument, and even the brand’s logo has a cool retro, classic-rock vibe. The bass is fully adjustable, exceptionally well-built, and offers a level of quality that can easily stand alongside a Fender P-Bass. One thing that really stands out is its durability. These basses are incredibly resilient and can handle the bumps and drops that inevitably happen in school settings. The tuners are stable, hold pitch well, and the instrument offers all the adjustability you’d expect from a much more expensive bass. I’ve become a big fan of Donner and regularly recommend their instruments to my students. In the video, I’m playing my Donner P-bass strung with DR Neon Strings, and the tone is fantastic. For beginners, students, and even experienced players looking for a reliable instrument, this bass is an outstanding value. Highly recommended!

Great beginner
This is a great beginner guitar. It sounds nice and smooth and like a more expensive guitar. The amp really blew us away, too. It seems to be good quality, with several settings to adjust.

Great for a beginner!
Before I start this is something I needed help with. When I got the amp they give you remember it’s small but loud but also the start button I was slow or something but remember to hold it down and make sure to plug it in the guitar before the sound comes out. The guitar itself is nice in build condition it’s nice and all, i started to learn fast but remember it takes time to get good. This was funny I remember I broke one of my wires due to me doing something stupid but because of the spares I was able to fix it. The tuning of the guitar is also easy for beginners. But the tuner they give remember to put in the right way I did and I broke the tuner they gave me I had to buy a new one. So tips for the guitar it’s a little heavy but use the strap a lot it’s works out for everyone. I would love to show how good I got with it but I’m in a trip in Florida right now for winder brake so I can’t sorry!

Get another amp
Honestly as a beginner this guitar is perfect, very fun to learn with, not crazy expensive but for the price the quality is wonderful, the performance and sound is great you just might need a different amp so it sounds better, but other than that 100/10

Far beyond value
Absolutely phenomenal guitar. I've purchased a lot of cheap budget guitars and kits in the past to give to students, and they're usually only a little bit cheaper than this. I ordered this one to donate to an organization because I'm going to build a custom body for it (specific to the organization) and wanted some better than budget parts. Could not be happier with the guitar and accessories. They're all excellent and I probably won't be getting the cheaper brands anymore.

A Pleasant surprise and great value!
It is a beautiful left handed guitar, yeah! Great quality for price, great value and has all the accessories needed to start playing straight away, which I did😁! Small enough for me also as I am small of stature with small hands, I could go on. I love it and play it everyday, video is of me playing and I bought it mid November 2020.

This Actually Exists For Purchase!!!
Wow, what a hefty amount of value in this bundle! For less than $200, you can be readily equipped with a decent entry level guitar with everything you need to hit the ground running! And it's a lefty!!! Honestly....the accessories alone are worth the price. But they added a GUITAR. For the quality and value on offer here, this is a must buy. Been quite a few years since I used to play, wanted something affordable that wasn't complete garbage. Not only is this bundle entry level quality, but for the price tag, it's actually staggering the quality and quantity you get. This line mimics knockoffs like Samick, which is not a bad thing! Still beside myself with this bundle! If you're on the fence and hesitant to hit the Buy It Now button, just hit it. You will not be disappointed!

Great value as a starter instrument.
As a retiree with little or no musical knowledge (or talent ) decided to take up guitar and did not want to spend a huge amount and not stick with it. Spent weeks going back and forth through various sites. Settled on this one after advice from an amateur guitar player. This comes with its own case which is a little low quality - ok as a dust cover but that’s about it. Spare strings, some pics and a small amp plus cable. Also a small attachment to clip on when tuning the guitar. I have been very pleased as a complete novice - and it’s been absolutely ideal just to learn the very basics. I went ahead and got a stand and a solid case to protect it. To be completely transparent I am not a musician but always had a deep love of music. I find the instrument is comfortable, love the metallic blue finish and find with my very limited knowledge the strings stay in tune with some minor tweaks after several sessions. A skilled long term guitarist would probably find massive issues, as it doesn’t cost thousands from a big maker. But I am very happy with it as a complete starter which is exactly who it is aimed at I think the price is a fair for what you are getting and It makes me smile so good value. I will invest in a top end instrument once my skill level improves. Overall if you are thinking about it GO FOR IT !!
