Good brake fluid
Bought to do a flush of my daughter's brakes. Typical high quality that I have come to expect from Lucas. 6 months since the fluid change, no issues. Good value for the money, and I didn't have to drive to the store to but it, for more money.

Can't go wrong with a synthetic brake fluid. Lasts longer.
Synthetic brake fluid. Can't be beat. It absorbs less water than conventional brake fluid and has a higher heat tolerance, which is important for less brake " fade". Conventional fluid gets dark and dirty fairly quickly from intense heat. That can mess up the ABS system and overall brake performance. Brake fluid should be replaced every 2 years due to water absorbtion. With the synthetic fluid, you can stretch that to 3 years. The price was fantastic for the amount you get. And you can't go wrong with a Lucas product. They've been in the car racing scene for years. Great product.

I put this in my Brake Reservoir and my vehicle still stops. I am either lucky or the brake fluid works ok. Take your pick.

best brake fluid around
brakes feel a bit more responsive with less brake fade, old brake fluid turned amber but not water contaminated. so changing your fluid every 80k regardless of what your brake fluid detector says is highly recommended.

Brake fluid
By far the best brake fluid I have used, it’s very easy to use and pour without a funnel in a pinch. Definitely helped having a bigger bottle with doing a brake bleed on my vehicle back in the summer time. Try to use it all up because all brake fluid goes bad after a short period of time unless factory sealed still.

Lucas oil products have always been pretty staple. I know in terms of automotive things you always get guys who are die-hard fanatics of a certain product. Unfortunately, that's not me. As such, I can't say much about the formulation of Lucas Oil and why it may crush its competition. I will say that Lucas Oil has been around for a long time and in my use, it's great. I've been able to replace/interchange my DOT 3 brake fluid with no issues (that's probably a bare minimum), and the fluid performs like brake fluid. So with that said, the only thing I can comment on is the price point. With my Prime membership, this item comes in at 19$ roughly for 1 quart (~950mL). At Canadian Tire, the ~350mL bottle goes for 6.99$ (before tax). So in this case, if you're in need of Brake Fluid, this is actually a great purchase, because you get a competitive price that you can receive on Prime Delivery. For me, that was great. Because my reason for initially purchasing this was to do a quick brake flush. I had wanted a large quantity of brake fluid but, lived from driving distance to the nearest Canadian Tire. For obvious reasons, couldn't drive my car there because the brakes were out. So this item from Amazon was great. So my suggestion, is get this if you're in need of a litre of brake fluid on your terms. It's a little cheaper, but if you were really in a hurry for a top up, just go get the same thing from Canadian Tire.
