Veterinary Anatomy Coloring Book

Really helpful and detailed photos! Really got me through vet tech A&P classes and made it more fun to study!

This is a beautifully done coloring book. The drawings and diagrams are accurate, and provide several different views of the various species - which is extremely helpful. I would recommend to any student, or person willing to learn or gain a deeper appreciation for animal anatomy. That being said, the quality of the book is also good. Probably a 4/5. The pages are not perforated, so I wouldn’t try to rip out or make copies but its still a good book!

I found this book a useful tool for learning veterinary anatomy. The drawings were detailed enough to be helpful but not so detailed that they were difficult to color. You definitely need a lot of colored pencils, though, or other drawing utensils because there are a lot of things to color (as it should be since anatomy is pretty complex)! I liked that there were different categories for different biological systems rather than putting everything together since that would be unnecessarily detailed. For each system that we studied in class, I could usually find a corresponding section in this book, which was great since I could keep using the book throughout the semester and school year. The pages were also good for coloring on- not too glossy or too scratchy. I just wish that I had more time to use the book more often. Overall, I would recommend this to others learning veterinary anatomy if you learn well by coloring. If you don't know whether it will help you, I would suggest giving it a try. I wasn't sure if I'd use it at all but it ended up being a handy tool.

My wife is in school to be a vet tech. I got this as part of a themed birthday gift, then found out they actually recommend this in later classes as part of the curriculum! It's a little spendy for a coloring book, but the quality from an education standpoint legitimizes the cost. Probably not for little kids as it dealing with internal body parts and very detailed, but it is very high quality and detailed. If they can color within the lines and are interested though it would be fine and a great way to nurture that learning, just a waste of money and maybe a little disturbing for small people. This isn't a cute animal book, it is anatomical.

I bought like a present for a friend and she love it! Brand new and have a lot space to paint. Im not a veterinarian but my friend is taking that career and she think this book works perfect to complement what she learns. A little complain: When I opened have a glue rest in the place where i supposed is the price and take the tag out. She tells me doesn' care but I don't feel that supposed to be in a brand new book. Thats the reason why I put 4 stars intead 5. Oh, and I see a little and ask myself why I felt the book have more info about exotic animals than farm an home animals. My friend says its fine and have what she needs, so i don't take that aspect of the book to serious now i'm writing this review.

I found out about this book through a Veterinary Technician study group. One of the students posted a photo and was so excited about it. I love anatomy but find it quite challenging to remember everything now that I am no longer 15 and have a full time job and a household to care for. I purchased this coloring book - because I love to color - the anatomy part was a bonus. I have found it to be invaluable in helping me learn the name and location of anatomical structures of the animal body. This book has many species not just cats and dogs. Coloring in a section that has a name for you to refer to makes it so much easier to remember. This has become my favorite part of Vet Tech Animal Anatomy. It's also quite affordable and it's not something you will finish in a few weeks - it is extensive.

Used by daughter during her 3 year studies for vet nurse qualification. Images reinforced her learning and recall of various animals anatomy. Recommended as a helpful learning aid.

It is a good colouring book for people who are studying vets. It is rather informative and at the same time, also allows the readers to relax while colouring the pictures.

Excelente libro, muy detallado. Mi hija estudia veterinaria pero tiene su lado artístico y le ayuda a memorizar las pár tés de de los animales. Es un libro grande y muy completo. Lo recomendamos!
