Upon opening the package it smelled like a spray can paint. It literally looked like someone sprayed a thin layer of flat black paint over metal. Besides this, the grip is very nice. I bought this product because the sleeves has bearing/bushings to eliminate the squeaking sound of metal rubbing against metal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good for the $$$ (Bar is ONLY 20.0 lbs- NOT "44lbs") *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2019* A very good bar especially for the price; I had once another Olympic Cambered Bar that was $150.00 over a decade ago, so it was high quality; and this one is very comparable. E.g., this bar is balanced or weighted perfectly; it has a great matte black finish on it and the diamond-cutting for one's grip is very nice as well. Further, the bar weighs 45lbs, which is great as most Cambered bars weigh 22lbs-25lbs tops. Great price and a great bar. ***[UPDATE}*** the bar is ONLY 20lbs (barely over it), so it is NOT the listed "44lbs." Nevertheless, it is still excellent, but the weight should be CORRECTED in their Description and is why I purchased it, i.e., thinking it was the stated "44lbs." ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ PROS AND CONS *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2019* 4 stars... and i'll tell you why.Negative: The bar was not fully coated with the black rust resistant spray, there were small parts at the knurling that had silver/iron streaks where it was not fully coated.Positive: Structurally solid!! Comes oil sprayed for rust prevention, knurling on this bar is superb! Grips better than any curl bar i've ever used. Feels heavier than most curl bars i've lifted at the gym, which I like! I really dig the fist decal, doesn't seem cheap. As I'm writing this review I see that the GOPLUS black coated curl bar is out of stock and its only showing the chrome one.OVERALL: Worth buying!
