Excellent product
I bought the product about a month ago. And now that I’ve returned from my vacation I can say that the voltage converter worked very well. There were no issues and I was able to use it with all of my devices ideally. And I also like that it works in many different countries. This really helped me with my trip. I already recommended this step down adapter to my friends who like to travel as well. Moreover, the price is very good for the 2000w converter kit.

Initial response
So far....for the first week in Italy the unit has worked well. I have used it to charge my cell phone and iPad and does that well enough but... the main reason was to power a Mr Coffee coffee maker and through day 4 the unit has worked flawlessly. The coffee maker is rated at 850 watts so it is in the converters mid-range specifications. I will post back if the unit is not reliable or fails to operate. It is small and easily transportable especially with the tote bag that came with it.

Can't power a laptop
Not being able to power my laptop effectively made this product useless. For little things like a call phone, it is sufficient. Don't know about any dryers - I figure if it can't power a laptop without blowing a fuse, what kind of hair dryer is it going to power?

Product never worked.
Product never worked. I plugged it in in several different electrical outlets, including a residence. The light never lit up that it was on and work and it would not charge. I was gone for more than a month so there was no way I could return it in the required time. I would return it if I could.

Good product
It worked well when used in France, Switzerland, and Italy on my last trip. I think it stripped once with just a couple of USB devices attached but it was likely due to the electric spikes of the place. It was also a little hard to screw off the middle prong when used on 2-prong receptacle. Unscrew it before the trip to ensure you can take if off when needed.

Multiple items simultaneously charge
This is the converter for you if you travel with your personal electronics (and who doesn’t nowadays). We took this on a Mediterranean cruise and it’s been keeping multiple items fully charged, flawlessly. We will always take this converter on our European excursions.

Did the job
Oncd I figured out how it operates, it worked just fine. Had no trouble charging our phones or powering other electric devices we brought in our trip. My concerns were that there was no instruction manual with it. Not that it was a complicated thing. But it had these different adapters for different places and it did not tell me which ones were for which country. Also, the one for the Germany, the one ON the cord, did not fit well into the one for the UK. It was awkward. Also, and this is just a rookie mistake, but it could be made more visible. I did not see the power button at first and thought the thing wasn't working.
