What is your recourse if you are missing a piece?

Sorry - don’t know why that happens but it there can be one missing but several times where I swore there was a piece missing I found it later under the table or the ashtray etc. There should be a piece of paper in or on the box with a company name and you could google them - i know i did get to one company and they wanted to send me a whole new puzzle of that puzzle but I did not tell them to send it to me because I was not going to redo the whole puzzle just to find the missing piece but you could try that- good luck

You are incorrect. This is a regular type puzzle. Pieces are slightly larger so somewhat easier I enjoyed it.
