Tiki Toss Telescoping Pole without Mount or Screw

I've become addicted to this game! The telescoping pole can bounce a bit which doesn't affect the game at all. The stress on the pole shouldn't put anything in jeopardy. I loved the aluminum bracket that this comes with. It makes the base very sturdy and the pole is removable so it can be stored in between playing. Roughly 5' 2" fully extended. That includes the bit that slides into the bracket but the bracket extends from the board surface so you get the full 5' 2".When I decided to get one for myself I started researching. I liked the deluxe model, but some of the reviews said the plastic bushing holding the pole wasn't very sturdy and didn't last. I looked at the pole separately and it had an aluminum bracket to it so I bought this set of hardware and the telescoping pole set separately.Both are of great quality and I was able to build my own surfboard. [I've seen lots of styles, from footballs to golf hole shapes for the board].Now I'm not tied to having one place to play with the string tied to a limb or a ceiling. The whole game moves as a single unit. The telescoping pole bounces a bit, but the ring doesn't/shouldn't put too much stress on in so I'm looking forward to many hours of mindless frustration. :)

This turned out great for us! We read through all of the reviews to figure out how we wanted to use it. We did not decide to drill it into the wall. We used heavy duty mounting tape to mount both this pole and the wooden tiki toss to a metal pole on our back porch because the ceilings on our porch slant (and because the poles are metal). We mounted this about three or four inches above the wooden tiki toss with just the hook in it. Then, we put the pole in and the string with the circle onto the pole (we needed a step ladder). We placed the circle onto the hook on the tiki toss and got on the ladder and adjusted the string until it was barely taught like the instructions on the wooden tiki toss explained it should be when you are measuring the string if you were hanging it from the ceiling. There was leftover string hanging from the pole, but instead of cutting it off, we taped it to the pole because we may move the entire system in the future, and may need the extra string. It works great, and we developed a system that we can mobilize should we need to. I don't know if it perfectly follows "regulation," but it's close enough for us, and we have tons of fun with it.

Our original tiki pole broke ( it didn’t stand a sleepover with four 10 yr old boys)This came quick and was easy for this mom to instal into our original tiki toss board .

Ordered two on two separate orders. Second came with mount and after the first came without rendering it useless. Packaging description was identical for both products. Tossed the product in the trash.

Missing mount!

As you would expect, telescoping rod flexes and vibrates a bit making the game a little more difficult, but it’s great for areas where you don't have a place to mount the string overhead. Assembles easily, works well, and lots of fun, if not a little frustrating for some. Just what I was looking for for my patio.

Second time I ordered and it says tiki toss telescoping pole with mount, and second time there is no mount. I return the first but I’ll keep this one and we will improvise.

This came in handy just perfect! I had ordered the Tiki game for my daughters grad party but out tree branches are way up the tree so this came in handy to hang the Tiki string & ring from.
