I purchased this to keep in my cubicle at work because I was tired of the stale pepper packets in the cafeteria. It stores in its own base that captures any flakes stuck in the burr and keeps my desk clean

Works well , bigger would better

This is a disappointment. It's not a grinder to use at the table to fresh grind and dispense onto food. It dispenses into a closed base which is then dumped out. It does grind extremely finely, down to a powder. It's hard to use and it takes a LOT of power in your hands to use. My wife was unable to turn it at all. For the price, it's NOT a good buy.

Okay little grinder. Non-adjustable fine grind. The grinder arm is pretty short: the only real way to use it is by twisting it around with your thumb like an oven knob.

It’s perfect! Ideal size for table use.

Too Small

We have purchased several of these for gifts and this is by far the highest quality in every way. Excellent castings and finishing (I am a metal smith) from a company that knows what they are doing and for a very long time. Well worth the difference in price between them and China made garbage. In this instance, you really do get what you pay for.

I got the small grinder thinking it would be good at the table but it's not easy to use. I thought the pepper would come out the bottom but it doesn't....I even tried soaking the mill in hot water hoping to pry off the bottom in case I'd missed something. But no luck. I gave it one star for looks. I would have sent it back except I didn't want to waste any more money on it - especially since the item is imported. Oh, there were no instructions either in the box or on the website. It should have been easy but it wasn't.
