Unreal value for money! Perfect starter guitar.
I'm genuinely confused about how you can get so much guitar for so little money. Back when I started playing guitar most people would head down to their local Argos (or similar) and purchase a guitar deal which usually totalled around ยฃ150 and came with a bedroom amplifier and strat copy. Now on paper that sounds like what you're getting here and in honesty that's what I expected... at first. Firstly the guitar was of surprisingly high build quality! Sunburst finishes on cheap guitars always risk looking tacky but as you can see in the video this certainly looks the part! The neck was nice and thin and everything felt sturdy. The finish was mark-free, it's definitely one of the best looking strat-copies I've seen at this price point and looks decisively more the part than most similarly priced Squires I've played! The amp is table sized which is ideal for bedroom practice. It's not versatile in tones and it's not going to help you play over a drummer (or in a live band scenario) but if you're looking to have a quick practice that won't upset the neighbours it's ideal! I've found personally that the larger amps in other bundles tend to be less convenient than this as I could slip this in a small bag and take it anywhere and that they quickly end taking up precious floor space once you upgrade to a proper gig-able amp, which is another issue you avoid here. Additionally you receive all of the accessories you'll need to fully indulge in guitar playing, including: - a capo (used to play open chords further up the neck, think Ed Sheeran) - extra set of stings - set of picks - case and strap - amp lead - tuner (stick this on the end of the guitar and make sure you stay in tune as you learn!) If you were going to twist my arm and ask for cons i'd say the following: - There is some small glue around the nut. - The speaker didn't output until I turned on the overdrive volume and I felt as if the other knobs were negligible. - The strings felt cheap/standard (easily remedied by slapping on some new strings, I recommend a set of 'Ernie Ball .9' for you new players out there! A staple quality string set that will improve the feel of the guitar no end). In honesty getting an entire starter kit for ยฃ105 shouldn't be possible. This bundle exceeded my expectations in every possible way, it feels as if no corners have been cut with the included products and I've found everything in this bundle to be usable, so well done Donner! Highly recommended for someone looking to learn the basics/dip their toes before purchasing their dream axe!

Definitely a beginner guitar
I've been playing guitar a long time but had to stop for different reasons. And decided to pick it back up again and so got this. The guitar it's self I think is made well enough it seems like a nice solid material and it has some weight. I do have issues with it tho and those being the tuning pegs they are not very good quality. When my guitar arrived one of the pegs was sitting off center... Not an issue itself but speaks alot of the quality control. I've also noticed that pegs have far too much play in them before the turn which I think shows poor quality as that means it can very easily slip out of tune. This can be solved by purchasing better quality pegs. One thing I would do straight away is put new strings on it the ones it comes with seem to go out of tune very very frequently so it definitely needs a good set of strings. The tuner that comes with it doesn't seem very good but this might be because of the lower string quality but I had far more luck getting it in tune with the fender app. This is a great guitar for a learner and I personally think it looks fantastic. For anyone that's been playing guitar a while I would stay away it has some issues that can be avoided by spending a little more money and getting a squire or even a fender.

Perfect kit for beginner guitarists
Firstly, this is a crazy good deal considering what you get. Gig bag, capo, strings, strap, plectrums, tuner, cable AND a 3 watt amp plus a really good quality beginners guitar. The guitar itself feels like a good quality build. I was honestly surprised by this because I thought the accessories alone would cost the best part of the price tag on their own. It feels sturdy, the neck feels good and it plays nicely. This really does make a perfect starter guitar for anyone just learning because you get everything you'll need to hit the ground running. It feels and plays like a much more expensive guitar in my opinion. I've played some terrible starter guitars growing up with most of my friends being guitarists and this is a real cut above. The amp was also a real pleasant surprise. You get 2 channels, clean and distortion, with their own volume controls plus tone and gain controls. The clean gives a reasonable volume (as much as you'd expect for a budget 3w amp) but with a nice tone and the distortion can be pumped out a lot louder. I really liked the fact it's battery powered, charged by micro usb, so you can use it any where and take it around with you if need be. It also has an audio in input for playing music through it when practicing. Great for learning songs and using backing tracks. All in all I highly recommend it. If you really want the best out of it I'd advise taking it for a professional set up (normally ยฃ40 - ยฃ60 and there's always someone in the area) to just get it playing to the best of it's ability but this is in no way required as it plays fine on it's own.

Great kit! Gorgeous candy apple red looking.
Great beginner guitar. Volume on the amp only really changes in the first quarter turn after that it's full volume. The colour is absolutely stunning and should be in the title! My son wanted gloss red, but loves this colour! He is however as chuffed as I am with it!

Amazing value, a bit of a gamble with transport
First a quick shout out to the seller - Moukey Store. They have been extremely responsive and have kindly offered small refund for a defect caused during transport. I am very happy with their service. The guitar itself is absolutely amazing value for the money. It plays great out of the box, sounds about as good as mid-range Fenders and its very comfortable to play. The guitar is not the lightest weighing close to 4kg. Not only it plays well and sounds great but my color Tidepool is an absolute stunner. It is much brighter and bluer than Fender's Tidepool but it just works and everyone who has seen it has commented on what a beauty it is. It is worth saying that on the picture it looks like the color is solid blue, but actually it has the sparkly finish within the blue. Simply gorgeous. As for the accessories, I didn't really care about anything apart from the amp which has really good reviews online. Overall it has been a bit of a let down. The sound is just not that good and you basically cant play on low volumes. The best feature of this amp is that it has headphones jack and AUX input. I find myself using it only when I want to play on headphones and with backing tracks, otherwise I plug in to other amps. All other accessories is just basic cheap stuff, even though the strap is pretty comfortable and has faux-leather ends which is nice touch. All in all, you just cant go wrong with this bundle. It is just an incredible value for money, I have no idea how are they making any profit

Great value instrument, far more than a beginner's toy
I have expensive guitars which I'm afraid to take out of the case whenever we have a drunken jam, so I needed something relatively inexpensive but reliable I could have around for such occasions. I wasn't disappointed with my choice. Features: - Comes packed like a newborn, well padded and in its case. Well done Donner! - Excellent workmanship on the body and neck considering the price point - No fret sprout which is again very nice to see at this level - Once set-up it plays like a dream if you know what you're doing in terms of neck/action adjustment and intonation - Sounds great with it's little rechargeable amp as a strat should - Ridiculously generous set of accessories, I really don't know how they do it at this price point Would have liked: - One in red, but I'm just being picky. I think the blue also looks quite nice and I was split between that and the sunburst. All in all a great instrument that serves exactly the purpose I wanted it to. It won't be your Wembley number one but it will be a great jamming machine which you are not afraid to treat with a bit of passion due to its sturdy build. Well done Donner!

Amazing for a starter
I am no professional or anything and by no means am I a gear head when it comes to guitars. However I can provide a learners view on the product. Its great too play feels goo and sturdy the amp sounds good considering and everything just feels quality and not like its going to break. Ok sure its not perfect and the jack on the back for headphone input and aux cord output to say a speaker are a little shoddy and aren't in place too well but its not broken yet so id say its fine. The amp is also rechargeable and lasts what seems like a life time. The guitar itself feels great in hand and too play. The satin finish makes it easy too play and the frets aren't sharp or anything which is a common problem on cheap guitars. The micro USB cable (Charger for the amp) is what you expect form a normal cheap product its short and not of amazing quality. The aux cable is the same deal. The instrument cable actually feels very good quality and not lie its gonna break and the coating on the cable feels good and not like a cheap crappy plastic. The strap isn't the best ever but does the job. The picks are well picks just a piece of plastic really but non the less feel good too use and haven't broken so far. The tuner is accurate as far as I can tell and the spare strings I haven't tested yet but assume they are the same as the ones on the guitar which feel just fine too me and my uncle but he did say they are a little on the light side for him but that personal preference so don't worry about that. The gig back is well padded but I wouldn't try throwing it around too much. The Allen keys/wrenches or whatever you prefer to call them are just bog standard nothing special. The capo does its job but its only plastic but to be honest that's all it needs to be. I gave this guitar too my uncle who has been playing for around 40 years to tune as he just wanted to see it but I also wanted to learn how to tune by ear. Anyway as soon as I handed it too him he was very impressed and compared it too his fender Stratocaster and sure they weren't identical but according too him for what it cost and for what you get its a steal. So combining what my uncle and I think. I believe this is a must have for anyone who wants a electric guitar and it is a great starting point too the world of guitar. This would be great as a present or just to buy to get into playing.

Exceptional value!
Where do I start.. well when it came it was delivered in a standard guitar box, well packaged with not a mark on it so full Mark's for that as this type of thing is easily damaged in transit. I'm still amazed at how well this guitar plays for such a low price. I bought my son a fender standard for his 18th birthday off here for ยฃ267 for just the guitar. And it is every bit as good. The only difference are the pickups. The fenders are brighter and slightly cleaner sounding but the difference is minor. As for playability I actually prefer the Donner. You can get the action lower than a fender and the bridge is easier to control in my opinion. Cosmetically, its exceptional! I went for the metallic light blue (see pic) the neck is very well finished, once stretched it stays in tune brilliantly too. The mini amp that comes with is great too, surprisingly loud and very clear. Love the fact its chargeable too no battery needed. The case, strap, picks, capo even the lead are all top standard. All in all what a package this is. The guitar alone once played is as good as any squire you will play, and I've played many. So if your new to the guitar world take my advice and look no further for a complete package. This will not disappoint anyone who buys trust me.
