Perfect for claw foot tub!
I looked and looked for a toy holder for our claw foot tub. This works great! It doesn't clamp on tight, but it does stay on. And it holds a lot of toys and they can drain easily. I'm so glad I found it! I would have loved it when we had just a regular tub too. The mesh may drag a little on the bottom of a regular tub though, its pretty big and long. Its perfect size for claw foot tub.

I just wish it was bigger
This is a great, decorative and super practical bath toy storage thing. My kids love it and actually play with the holder itself as a toy - pretending it's eating different things, etc. I really love it. It's sturdy and attractive and doesn't fall down. The only thing I wish about it was that it was bigger. Maybe we should get rid of some of our bath toys, but bigger items don't fit. I'd been hoping to fit everything in there, but there's no way. So your bathroom may not look quite as neat as you hoped if you have any larger boats, or toys like that, but it's still great for the little things. I love that you can easily turn it out of the tub for showers. Great buy!

Good alternative to suction cup toy storage
This fits on the side of my tub nicely and my child likes to pull the toys out while in the bath (and put them back in!) It does stick out a bit far for showering purposes, so I usually keep it hung on the towel rack inside my shower. (I was surprised that it stayed up there actually) I did flip it out to sit on the floor of the bathroom at first, but I have a small bathroom and it was in the way of the door. It's a cute alternative to a suction cup toy bag, as I could not find any suction cups that would stick on my shower walls! Surprisingly the stickers for the eyes are not peeling off at all. I think we'll continue to use this even more as my child gets bigger and more confident in the bathtub. The mesh bag wraps around a plastic piece which sits inside of the mouth. It can sort of fall through but it's easy enough to reseat the inside piece. I would buy this again.

Returning - More cute than functional
Returning this item. It looks cute but just isn't functional. The beak of the pelican sticks out so far it takes up too much room in the tub and on the outside of tub if turned out and really doesn't hold that many more toys than a standard tub toy scoop. Also, we have a standard small tub in a townhome and it barely clips on to our tub correctly. I'm not sure who could fit this on their tub. It's a good concept as it is different than the standard suction cup toy organizers but just a poorly executed design. I also did not like that the consumer had to put the eye stickers on, not sure why the company could not do this already.

Cute but thats about it
I was sick of the suction cup holder type toy holders always falling off the wall, so I was excited to find this cute pelican! Excited until we used it. The mesh does not stay in place (falls out when we try to get the toys out) and it is way to big for our normal size tub (The picture lis very misleading in showing the mesh not touching the ground) So bummed this didn't work, I would return it had I not already thrown out the box!

Good option if you don't have suctionable bath tub
Most bath toy pouches I've seen suction cup to the bath tub wall. Our bath tub has a tile that suction cups don't stick to so we can't use these. Instead I was storing bath toys in a drawer in our cabinet and always worrying about water getting in the drawer or mold and mildew if the toys didn't properly dry out. This is the only solution I've found that works in our bathroom. It's not a great product but it solves our problem. The pelican bath storage pouch is kind of clunky and my 15 month old boys can break it apart and pull it off the tub wall. Still I don't consider this a major problem because the parts are big enough to be safe and the children are always supervised in the tub anyway. I'm more concerned with the toys being consolidated when they aren't in use and being able to properly dry out. The net is a good way for them to air out and drip into the tub. The net is also machine washable.

Love it!
I waited a year to post a review because I hate premature reviews. I still love this. My son loves it too. I read the negative reviews before buying, and I agree with most of them ... it is big, but I needed it because of all the bath toys my son uses. It probably takes up/blocks about 1/3 of the tub, but he still has enough room to play and bathe. It does come off the side of the tub fairly easily. He loves to take it off, empty it out, and make the pelican eat his other toys. The insert floats around until he is ready to clean up. Then he says, "Clean up!" puts the pelican back on the side of the tub (with help), puts the insert in (with help), cleans up his toys and waits for me to make the pelican bite his hand. It started smelling funky twice, so I just put it in the washing machine with a touch of bleach and it came out fine. It is perfect!

Great for cleanup and storage!
This pelican toy holder is working out for us but is a bit smaller than I thought. I got this because the suction-cup toy holders were not working on our tiles as they kept slipping down. We use this product for holding the foam letters, numbers, and sea creatures. So far so good. After the kids are done playing, I pretend the pelican is very hungry and to feed it. This helps with clean-up. Then it's shower-time. Once the toys are pretty dry, I grab the whole thing and place it in our rectangle garbage can for storage. It's great that I'm not picking up after the kids and risk hurting my back. Nice and neatly put away. The only thing I would recommend to KidsKit is to make the backing better stabilized. Currently it's a thick sort-of-flimsy backing. Nonetheless, I'm glad we have this for one set of bathtoys.
