Gear Swagger Knife, Serrated Edge, Drop Point [31-000594]

Good quality for the money. A little back story on this knife. The first knife that came was defective because the frame lock was a bit to long and therefore made it too difficult to release with thumb had to use a screwdriver to release it. I returned the first knife and then asked for a replacement and the frame lock releases much easier. I must admit that there is a bit of finesse and thumb strength needed to release the frame lock and fold down the knife. This is because the part of the frame lock where you put your thumb to release it protrudes only slightly outside of the knife frame itself which does not give your thumb enough surface area to push on the frame lock. But I believe this is a good thing because it reduces possibility of accidently pushing the release to easily and causing the knife to fold down unintentionally and causing injury. The knife is very sharp so it will handle most cutting jobs. Very well designed and sturdy.

Went with what a brand of knife I didn't know and was super disappointed. I can always rely on Gerber knives. This one is just the right size with a good grip that can come out at the flick of my wrist. Just what I was looking for.

So far, this is an excellent pocket knife.

I started carrying this knife a few weeks ago. It replaced at Smith and Wesson tanto knife that was a little heavier and had screws that I could not find the proper tool to tighten. The knife opens easy, it light and importantly to me it was cheap (about $11). The blade came sharp but have no idea how long that will last or how good the steel is to resharpen. The only thing I don't like is that is says Gerber on the pocket clip. The pocket clip is only about half the length of the knife so it doesn't get in the way too much and the side with the clip is smooth so it doesn't tear up the edge of your pocket with pulling it out or storing it. I am glad that I bought 4 of these (because I am sure I will lose it or break it someday).

Looks great, good knife for the price point. Sharp and capable for EDC. Initially it was difficult to open with just one hand as it was very stiff and thumb stud felt uncomfortable. After using for a few days it did become much easier to open with one hand, although I still need to close using both hands

Poorly designed. As others have stated, this knife is difficult to open and close one-handed. The problem is that the thumb stud is too high up which reduces leverage. Inexcusable design flaw. Beware of older reviews praising this knife. It apparently had a redesign recently which made it harder to open.

First time trying this brand after being a loyal Spigen user for years, and I’m honestly impressed. Installation was easy, the fit is perfect, and the clarity is great while still giving solid privacy. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

THIS KNIFE IS TERRIBLE. I cannot see this knife being useful in a life or death situation. I honestly can't get the knife open, even with 2 hands (and I am not a dianty lady) AND when I do get it open, I CANT shut the thing. I would love to sit and "break it in" by opening it a hundred times but my hands hurt after testing it 5 times. The thumb knobs are in a very odd placement. The side clip already had some of the chrome chipped off. Only good thing about it was that it came sharp (like knives are supposed to). I already own the 'Gerber Swagger Knife, Assisted Opening [31-001709]' which seems to be much better in the opening (still tough) and closing mechanisms. I won't be buyimg another Gerber knife.

Ich kenne Gerber als solide Schmiede für Funktion..... dies Teil ist definitiv als Schrott zu bezeichnen . Sofort wieder zurück geschickt.

excelente producto calidad-precio, difícil abrirla de manera rápida pero segura si algún menor lo intentase la recomiendo.
