Truly to the described size. Perfect for my car dog-mat.
I keep having bad luck at finding the perfect buckles to replace the broken ones from my car protective dog-mat. So fa, all I was able to find was those claiming to be 1.5", but at the end ended up to be much bigger than described. Finally I found those, which are the perfect size. Plus, they come with a set of five, including some spare buckles (see photos). For the price, that was a total bargain! 😁 Construction seems to be good, but like with all those kind of plastic clips, if you play too much with it, it feels likes it could eventually break.

Easy to assemble
I bought these buckles with some flat cord. It was very easy to put together - make it whatever length I wanted. The plastic is very sturdy. They were outside all winter, and held up. No issues with the cold temp making them brittle.

Shorted by one buckle and slide - UPDATE
UPDATE - The seller credited some money to my account for the shortage of one buckle - greatly appreciated. Four buckles and four slides delivered, not five of each as description states. Haven’t tried the product yet but they seem to be okay.

Works great for 1" strap
Use these for 1" strap. Some are just too small.

Great for a belt
I used these to make belts for my teen who is quite lean. This way he can adjust the belt exactly how loose or tight that he needs it to be. I wanted to purchase in my local sewing/craft store but they do not carry this size, even though they carry the strapping in this size. Thanks for carrying what I needed!

Disappointed
Was supposed to get 5 and got 3 instead. Product was advertised as a set of 5. Wil not order again

Worked for me
The male end of a similar buckle broke and I rolled the dice that this would be the right size to replace the piece (the female end is factory sewn onto a strap so I was really hoping to just replace the male end). It fit perfect. The 1.25" measurement in the picture was bigger on the buckle I was replacing but the 1.5" measurement on the pic was the same as the buckle I replaced. It worked.

Great Replacement for straps
Great replacement buckles or for DIY straps. They bite well and doesn't slip plus they are easily adjustable.
