As many Doc Martin, customers know, every pair of Doc Martens is just a little bit different. You can order four pair of the exact same color in the exact same size, and all four pair will fit differently. My daughter loved these shoes. She wanted them very badly. The first size we ordered were too large. We went one size down, and they fit perfectly, except for the rubbing on the heel. In order to keep the shoe on tight, for her,it must be tied very tight at the front, which caused rubbing on the heel. These are amazing, beautiful shoes. I would highly recommend them if you can find a pair that does not rub. The leather is very soft and should easily conform and fit your foot perfectly. But as many die hard Doc fans know, if there’s a rub or a place where it bothers you, it’s probably not gonna go away. They either need to fit perfect or they probably won’t.

These were so cute but run big. I should've listened. I usually wear a 9.5 and settled for a 9 but my feet were flopping around in them. I returned but no size 8 is available right now if they ever were :(

I really do love this brand and I wish they had half sides. I’m a 7.5-8 depending on the shoe. And the 8 is huge on me, the 7 is borderline too small. I wouldn’t be able to wear socks. I am bummed about it. They are so cute. They are also heavy. So that was not something I liked.

I usually wear 8-8.5 in other brands. I wear an 8 in other doc martens. I got a size 7 and they fit perfectly. Anything bigger would have had my heels slip out when I walk because of how heavy they are. They are so much cuter in person! Get them!!

These run a little big but you can never go wrong with Docs.
