It fit my Galileo computer great!
This battery fit my Galileo computer great! It comes with a new o ring to replace on the battery cover. Make sure you use a silicone type lube on the o ring.

Fit the bill
The replacement battery for my transmitter arrived pretty quickly and worked like a charm. The only thing that would have been better is if it came with a brief set of instructions for novices out there like me. I pulled the old battery out without paying close enough attention and it's almost impossible to spot the indicators in the transmitter to know which way to orient the battery. That was my bad, but I'm probably not the first or last to make that mistake. Otherwise, I'd definitely use this vendor and product again.

A good battery matters
Nice battery and seal. It does the job and does it well. Good luck.

Beware of dates
The battery arrived from Shiras quick. Big issue, the manufacture date stamp was from 2004, well past the shelf life published by Varta. It also came with Synthetic grease instead of the Silicon grease recommended by Scubapro. Not sure if that is a problem, but didn't want to take a chance with an expired battery. Lowest price is not always the best option to save a dive.

Make sure what battery you need
This is not the one for my Uwatec's Galileo Sol transmitter. They should've made it clearer in the description. Sounds like there are 3 or 4 transmitter models around and not all use the same battery type.
