Homax 4120 Acoustic Texture Touch Up Kit

Had a little water damage on the ceiling of my laundry room, the back wall along that seam. Two previous attempts to get the ceiling area re-done failed and then I found this. It's a little messy (it spits the product out of the small hand pump), but it matches my 30 year old ceiling texture. I don't even need to re-paint! This is a must-have for small water damage repair to textured ceilings. (note, it will not help with stippled ceilings).

Bought this product to repair a small section, looking to avoid running my compressor & professional texture gear. Very disappointed in that this kit was really useless, messy and too much trouble to return.

There is a variety of popcorn ceiling finishes and this would never be able to match my ceilings finish. The Styrofoam beads in the mix are too large to reproduce my ceilings finish. The beads jammed in the gun even with the opening set to “heavy” as the instructions stated.

Read the directions an follow them, will probably make for a good experience.Saved my self 600.00 in about one hour, hardest part was moving furniture.For sure, protect your valuables by covering them.A good idea would be to nait up a peice of sheetrock and to a little practice exercise.Spraying overhead is a little different, use short, quick strokes, move fast, sit back and admire your work.

It works OK. I didn't expect much so I can say it did help on some small spots. I would not buy it again.

My husband and I have been remodeling our house that we moved into and we were looking for a spray gun to spray gold glitter on the ceiling on our dining room ceiling so the chandelier we purchased would have the ceiling sparkle. After calling and calling, we could not find a spray gun without actually buying a new one around 75.00 and over. Well just using it one time we called to try to even just rent one. I thought well I KNOW Amazon has got to have something that will work. After searching for about 30 min.. I found this and showed my husband. He said he wasn't sure but we were going to try it. After purchasing this manual spray tube/gun and buying also the size of glitter I wanted to spray on the ceiling in the dining room ceiling, it came out just GEORGOUS!!!!!!!!!! It is beautiful and it worked great with the glitter I also bought from Amazon. I have had so many compliments and people asking who I hired to finish the room, I just tell them a little bit of imagination and purchases from Amazon!!!!!

This is a great little texture sprayer for small jobs. Don't try to push this too far to do large jobs. I have used this for touch ups for at least 15 years. Always try to keep one in my tool box for small jobs I run up on.

Wanted an easy popcorn ceiling spray to fix an area in the ceiling. After mixing the solution as the instructions indicated, I couldn't get the device to spray properly. Within 5 minutes I gave up and threw it in the trash. The popcorn spray cans in a hardware store aisle are probably a better bet than this product.
