A friend of mine had this and when I saw it, I said OMG I must have it. I ordered it and I’m so pleased. Just put it around your neck after you warm it in the microwave and it takes all the pressure off your neck and back. I would definitely recommend anyone to purchase this.

Like this style of heat pack. The fabric is not quite as delicious as the old one I have from this same brand that was purchased in Canada, but it was getting worn down after many years of use.

It works wonderfully. It doesnt have the herb smell like others i purchased so just note that when buying.

I can't believe I lived so long without it. As with any natural fiber filled heating pad, it will have to be reheated eventually but hold the heat well. I dot mind the smell of the heated grains, and I prefer this material to using something plastic or synthetic. Great for back and shoulder stiffness. I haven't tried using this cold, as I purchased it to be used hot.

Love this bean bag. Delivery was fast too.

pleasant soucce of healing comfort

Bought one of these several years back and was always impressed with how well it held heat. Picked up another recently and that thing loses heat wayyyyy faster than the previous one I have. Wouldn't buy this again based on recent experience. Product quality probably gone downhill to save money.

The best! 3min in microwave and mmm comfort! Better than the lavender type which sometimes create moisture and weird smell.

Great design, had a different one i purchased on Amazon and blew up in my microwave. This came as a recommendation to me and thought i would give it a try. Love the design it, hugs around your neck comfortably. Heats up in about 2 minutes in the microwave, found the heat doesn't last as long as i was hoping it too. Lasts i found is about 45 minutes and then requires reheating. I usually reheat it about 3 or more times a day but found on the 4th attempt it doesn't heat up very well. It almost like it needs a "cool down" period. I thought it was odd but i could live with it. Came back to write this review and was scrolling through the ad of the product and found some very interesting information. It states after 100 uses, it is recommended to consider replacing your Magic Bag as the grains lose their ability to retain heat. When i read that i was truly disappointed i didn't read that nor did i read any of the comments. I have had these "types but not this one" over the last few years but of coarse they get worn out and some of the beads fall out so it's just better to replace it but i have never had a problem. If i knew this before i purchased it i would have probably never bought. I get the beads need to retain there heat but i have probably heated this about 3/4 and i only had this for a little more than a week. So i heat this 25 more times and it's essentially useless. Nothing physically on the product or in the box does it state that claim so i will be putting this to the test and hopefully updating when i heat my 100 heat times. Overall i do like the product, it relives muscle tension.

Bought this because I need it for shoulders more so than neck. The bean bag is shaped to sit great around the neck but also seems to be well suited to envelope a shoulder. Sits on top and wraps to chest nicely. After 1 minute in microwave, it last around 50 minutes until I feel like its not warm enough anymore. Its still warm but its not as warm to be effective for me. I have not needed to use it as a cold bag but according to instructions it has to be in the freezer for 4 hours. The product is well made. Stitches are clean and looks like the beans inside won't fall out. I think the 50minute heat duration is adequate and its more or less what you would get using a hot water bladder bag. This is way better since it takes merely 1 minute to heat in microwave and lasts just as long as conventional water bag.
