I like to have poached eggs for breakfast often, I have been using microwave egg poachers for a while which work OK but are a bit difficult to consistently achieve the desired 'sweet spot' of poached eggs with firm whites and runny, creamy yolks. Since using this pan for the past week I've found that I'm getting perfectly cooked eggs each time by following the instructions included (see attached image). If you like eggs with firmer yolks, you can just leave them in the pan for longer. The pan is easy to use, easy to clean, and the eggs can be removed easily from the cups using the included silicone spatula. Its looks and feels like a high quality piece of kit. While the £40 price tag might seem steep, in my opinion it's worth it for a high quality item that I will use almost every day.

The pan is quite heavy, so gives the feel of a quality product. The egg-cups are super non-stick (but still I advise to use a small slice of butter to grease them in order to prevent sticking) and so the eggs fall out perfectly every time. The egg-cup carrier (six hole plate) is well made of stainless steel and cleans very easily. No real need to put in the dishwasher - a quick wipe with a moist sponge does the trick. Very happy with my purchase - by no means the cheapest, but, as they say "you pays your money and you takes your choice". Thoroughly recommended

Genuinely pleased with this purchase - the pan is easy to use, easy to clean and my young family are delighted with the quality and consistency of my poached eggs now 👍 As I read in a previous review - a small amount of butter rubbed onto the surface of the little cups goes a long way to helping the cooked eggs drop out with ease, when they’re ready. Delighted with my purchase!

Lovely quality, heavy, sturdy item. Do grease the cups lightly. Would not have believed it but the eggs really do cook perfectly- much better than the traditional cheaper egg poachers. Worth the ££ if you love perfectly cooked poached eggs. The cups are bigger and rather than rounded cups, they have a flat bottom which allows eggs to settle perfectly

Be aware the egg poachers are scalding hot when emptying onto your plate, wear gloves if you can.

Does what it says on the tin

This poached egg maker is a godsend for those whom are cooking challenged. My partner and I made 6 perfectly cooked runny poached eggs on the first attempt! Comes with a cooking guide time of 3.5-6 mins, 4mins was perfect for us. Incredibly easy to use and wash up.

Easy to use, easy to clean what more could you want - probably more than what you'd expect to pay for a poacher, but time will tell if those extra £'s are seen in longevity
