Exactly what I needed - highly recommend
Got this so I could play football on multiple TVs in different rooms, from a single cable box. Wanted to make sure sound and picture were synchronized. This worked perfectly and was exactly what I needed! I’m able to play 3 TVs on the single source with no delay and no impact to picture quality. (Has ability to go up to 4 TVs). Super easy setup. Highly recommend this.

Convenient setup to bridge multiple inputs & outputs for gaming & karaoke
I started implementing a setup that can swiftly shift between playing nintendo and singing karaoke one year ago (Winter 2023) - This splitter has been the core of my setup since then. The tricky part is in karaoke system, since it involves in a TV box for the music and multiple microphones. I ended up using a mixer to mix the music and mics. The mixer takes only analog input - and that's where this splitter shines: It extracts audio from either input and output it through a 3.5mm analog port, which works great for my solution. The switcher is also very convenient, because of it I can switch between nintendo and tv box for karaoke with just one button.

Does not process audio on eARC port when video is not present on eARC
I have a TCL QM7K and TCL has decided not to put a 3.5mm hesdphoen jack on their TVs and will not support output to optical and HDMI at the same time. So people with hearing aid transmitter are NOT SUPPORTED and have to try and find another solution to support a non-hearing impaired and hearing impaired listeners at the same time. So I bought this OREI 1x2 HDMI splitter as it says it has an audio extractor. But only works if passing video in the hdmi signal. When you use an eARC channel hooked only to a sound bar, and pass that eARC output to the OREI, it will not see a video signal. Therefore it will not lock on to the signal and process the audio. So knocked off 3 stars as that was the whole reason i bought it. It works fine and extracts audio to the optical output and eARC simultaneously if I hook a cable receiver hdmi output to the OREI and thenthe OREI output to the TV so video and audio are in the HDMI signal. But then you cant get the TCL Smart TV apps audio sent to your hearing aid transmitter because the eARC port is downstream of the OREI splitter and its only getting HDMI signal from the cable receiver. If I use a seperate 3rd party HDMI 2x1 switch, run the cable receiver to input 1, a FireTV stick to input 2, then hook the 3rd party HDMI switch output to the OREI input, and the OREI output to the TCL HDMI input 1; then the OREI will send audio to the optical output and the TCL will pass audio to the TCL eARC port and out to the soundbar. But thats a convoluted mess, and why have a Smart TV then... I have reached out to OREI support and will update with their feedback. OREI should figure out how to process audio from an HDMI signal when it is lacking video and just has audio. That would make this product 100%... UPDATE: I had several email exchanges with OREI support, they confirmed right out the gate that the product needs a video signal for the hardware to be able to sync and decode the audio. So while I could cobble together and external solution using a hdmi switch, smart device (,like roku or FireTV) and my cable box, that is not what I prefer. So think I'm going to just set down and see if I can design my own with a decoder and firmware (im a retired firmware engineer). So I added stars back for the assistance amd willingness to help from OREI, great support team.

solved all my problems.
I've never had something so perfectly solve a niche problem of mine like this device has before. i'm still kind of amazed at how EXACTLY it fit what I needed. trying to split a single video feed to a 4k tv, a 4k monitor, a 1080p portable display built into the case panel, and a 1080p wireless hdmi broadcaster. I spent weeks trying to get it working in windows, nvidia panel, trying multiple splitters and adapters, even a standalone orei 1080p down converter... this has it all built into one little neat device. It also replaced my need to use a software program to clone the audio out too. Only downside is that it's power by an ac adapter and barrel plug. I picked up a usb to barrel plug adapter cable and now i"m able to run it off of usb too!

Audio extractor only produced a hissing noise.
Update::: Tried with AppleTV instead and it works flawlessly! Maybe something wrong with the Roku output, I’m not sure. Both video splitting and Audio works nicely! —————— The Video splitter seems pretty good for 4k. But the audio extractor didn't work out for me..I got only some hissing noise. I have the audio extractor output going to an amplifier, and it just gave me a hissing noise. Its the same cable I used from a Roku XS2 device that works with the system I have. I'm not sure if there is something different I need to try.

Without zero Arc and eARC support this product is outdated.
This product is nothing more than a computer moniter splitter. You can't use this to get an eARC audio connection to use this with a sound bar even with an optical cable at least from a Hisense TV that use seperate audio ports and with only one connection at a time. Thos product is is a total waste of money because it is outdated with HDMI 2.0 and 2.1 connection ports. Spend a few dollars more but bypass this if you need a real modern audio connection. This doesn't and you will have to waste your time on doing a return. I Orie support would just fess up with regards with calling this product crap they would just agree with you the customer on that this is a piece of crap out of date product that can't extract audio from anything.

Great audio extractor
This Orei 1x2 2.0 HDMI Splitter with Scaler Audio Extractor is really a cool product. Works very well and is incredibly easy to install right out of the box--very little, simple, intuitive setup. Our new tv only has optical audio out which is not compatible with the 2nd room audio function in the receiver. I discovered that this is a very common problem. (Our old tv had both digital and analog audio outputs so this problem was never manifested.) This device converts the digital audio to analog which is compatible with the 2nd room audio function of the receiver. Also, the new tv is 4K, so I was somewhat worried that the picture quality might suffer due to the signal splitting within the device. Thankfully the device has no effect on the awesome picture quality. I am very satisfied with this device and highly recommend it. It also has great, reasonable pricing.

No problems so far. I wish i had got a slightly different model, but it still works fine for my purposes. And no problems. Its working well. It was taking up space on my desk till i mounted it using those velcro command sticky strip things (which i just cut to size and shape with scissors).

J'ai dû essayer 6 articles différents pour en trouver un qui fasse le job. Amazon devrait trier un peu ses fournisseurs...
