Nothing is inexpensive for this vacuum. Did it work great? Yes! My kid ran my Rainbow without water in it and the original tank melted. After I quit crying, I went to Amazon to see if there was a replacement. Hallelujah, there was. And as far as the replacement tank cost vs. the cost of the full vacuum, this is cheap. It's just like the original.
