These are always a hot item with elementary students. They sell out fast at the bookfair so I decided to grab them for my daughter’s class. They lived them

I bought these as little gifts for a class, and the kids were really excited about them. I kept one to use, and it worked exactly as described. I assume all the ones I gave away also worked correctly.

We put these and a little notebook in the stockings of kids at a family party and they were a HUGE hit. Kids of lots of ages LOVED being able to draw and write with their pen and then use the light on the back to see their secret design. The quality seems good, they were easy to use and held up to some "exuberant" use from younger kids. We were really pleased with these.

These pens create a dusty residue that sticks all to paper and wipe off of about half the smooth surfaces that or holiday elf wrote on (the painted concrete walls, the file cabinet, wooden cabinets, etc). I don't know what would happen if you leave it on too long. Luckily, if you cap up the marker after each use, they last for weeks (at least). The light button needs to be pressed in so it doesn't get left on and wear out easily. I'm glad I bought the multi-pack because there are a lot of happy kids with their own "detective games" now. The ink works with other UV lights too, in case you are wondering. Fun for secret message writing. Great as as a small gift.

Worked great-- kids loved them!

These were no good. The battery inside the pen were expired and exploded. Many of the pens lights did not even work. I have bought other pens like this before and there is a tab you pull after you open the package the activated the battery. Most of the batteries showed signs of corrosion. The button on the lights were recessed into the pen and hard to use as compared to other pens we have bought. So sad I just wasted nearly $30 on pens that majority don’t even work and the ones that do it is difficult to turn on the light and the light is very weak . Total waste of money look for another brand

I purchased these pens for my kids birthday so he could pass them out to his class mates. The kids really enjoyed them and the durability of them is great. We had 1 pen light break but that was the only issue we had.

I was surprised, but these actually work really well and were a big hit!
