Just be aware that you have to be comfortable with completely removing your thermostat from the wall to add plate *by S***B on Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2015* Nice Product. Be aware that you will have to take the wires off your thermotat and remount everything. You will NOT have to drill new holes or anything. It is fine to use your existing holes... Just be aware that you need to cut off your Power and take your thermostat off the wall and undo the wires.* Only install during day light or if you have a head lamp. You will need to cut the house power for safety.1) Cut the all Power.2) Remove Thermostat Face.3) Take a picture of the wire connections, so you know how to connect it back.4) Disconnect Wires.5) Un mount thermostat base.6) Remove Protective plastic tape cover on Plate.7) Push Wires through hole in plate and through the hole on the Thermostat mount/base.8) Screw the thermostat base to the wall.9) Reconnect wires. (use your picture that you took).10) Put thermostat face back on.11) Cut Power back on.12) Clean plate with stainless steel wipes or cleaner.Looks Awesome!Give yourself time to do this install. It was useful in covering up a hole in the wall but I might swap it out with the plastic plate that came with the Nest. I had to use double sided tape to get it slightly even.
