do the microfiber 36in frame and pads come together without handle

It comes with the handle as seen in the picture. The handle length adjusts also. I've had mine over a year and use it often. It works great.

does this work for vinyl plank floors?

Yes, I use it on my vinyl plank floors. It is quite large so for quick wipe ups it is great. I have a hard time putting a large amount of pressure on it to really clean the floor though. For big areas it is great.

How well does the mop adhere to the velcro after using several times?

It adheres excellently. Even after washing it in the washing machine I have never had any issue with the velcro.

Do you use a bucket to wet the mop or is it the type you wet the floor first then mop?

Actually since the mop itself attaches with velcro I take it off and wet it and ring it out in the sink or a bucket and put it back on.
