There is a great assortment of sizes in the package. The largest being 8" is very handy; I can stretch it over a 10.5" large plate and stick it in the fridge. That said they are extremely strong, I purposely tried to stretch till they broke when I received them and it's not gonna happen easily. The complaints about them not sticking when wet are true, however not valid. Plastic wrap won't stick to wet dishes either, you have to wrap it around and stick it to itself, and you really shouldn't microwave with it; chemicals melting on your food = gross. Plus most things are cooled down when you put them away, so theres not condensation. The only time I can see a problem is if you take something out of the fridge and want to recover it in the same bowl and put it back (it's not a huge deal to work around). Although I found that it all depends on the dishes you're trying to cover, for instance the lids work great on my Fiesta bowls wet or not. I just have to use a size more appropriate that doesn't involve a lot of stretching. And if it's a pyrex dish with a large lip, they fit great, even on square ones. I find it very handy to be able to cover a dish with these and stick them in the oven, you can't do that with a normal pyrex lid, and aluminum foil gets expensive. These are rated to 600*, you can put them in the microwave, cover things on the stove, or the oven, they're extremely versatile.They're a great price for what you're getting and I think you'll find tons of uses for them. You can't expect them to do everything, but if you experiment you'll see they are very handy and can save you a lot of money. Plus these won't give you cancer, nor make your food taste funny, and you're doing a great thing not adding more toxic waste to the environment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Civilized" proper dish covering *by A***Y on Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2015* Excellent ! I read the other silicone product's reviews along with this product's reviews and I'm sure this is the real winner. I've had them for one week and I cannot imagine them ripping (as they say the cheaper type has ripped) . Very high quality silicone. I brought in my own salad bowl with lovely prepared salad from home covered with my new lid. Washed both at work and put them away when I got home. That may not sound so exciting, BUT I am so sick of using plastic zip lock containers and hand washing them with (grease cutting) dish soap (salad dressing !)then shaking the excess water off and letting them dry in rack and THEN putting them in the special plastic container cabinet in the kitchen ! Phew ! ( I never put that cheaper plastic in the dishwasher.) NOW, I can start and end lunch with a "real" bowl and clean up (storage too) is easy. I have not put new lids in dishwasher yet and may not because they are so floppy---no problem/ they are Very easy to wash and dry by hand. PS super alternative to plastic wrap--I rarely use plastic wrap due to Eco-waste.....these lids are the perfect alternative ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing way to keep food from spoiling *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2015* Theae silicon lids are amazing. They literally do not break. When I first took them out of the package I was kinda disappointed by how soft and not so durable they seemed. But that did not last long. As a test I grabbed the smallest one, which by the way can be used for even ur smallest pudding cups, and started stretching it. I kept stretching it as far as it would go, being the tiniest one that wasn't very much of course, it did not break. As soft as these lids are they will surprise you at how strong and durable they can be. Super easy to clean and food lasts longer with a silicon lid on which is pretty cool. If ur tired of ur homemade chicken salad spoiling because the lid wasn't snapped all the way into place on the container then stop worrying and get a pack or 2 of these.
