Beautiful product, great for hotpot or fancy food with family. It is a perfect size pot that isn't humongous, but also big enough to actually put food in. FYI, food will get stuck on the bottom and when put on stove, it will burn the pot. leaving burnt mark. I believe that is normal for all typical pots like these.

So, I am on a mission to buy one of these pots. First 2 were a Korean brand which arrived broken. I am going to continue to buy these until I receive one in working condition. **Update** So, the adventure continues. The replacement has arrived and upon inspection, looks to be pretty intact. It passes the eyeball test so far. Another test you can do is the twist test. Grab each handle and twist it slightly, if you don't hear any cracks or scrapes, the pot is good. I am hearing some minor scrapes from this replacement pot. However, it can be from the handle connection to the pot or the pot itself. We will see.

This is a perfect addition to my kitchen. I have cooked hot pot, congee, and soup with it and loved the outcome each time. It is very easy to clean and dries quickly too. And it looks pretty sitting on the kitchen counter.

The lid was loose and uneven.

I was overjoyed to receive my donabe right on time and in perfect condition. And that was juat the beginning. We have a gas range, this would not be appropriate for stove top induction ranges as it is all beautiful clay. The first thing I made was sake rice. While I love our rice cooker and instant pot, the flavor and texture of the rice cooked in this donabe was unique and exceptional. Glossy and sweet, it was delicious. Next I made a vegan Japanese curry (from scratch, my first try!) and it turned out perfectly. Slowly cooking the golden curry in this clay donabe made a rich and spicy meal - maybe a bit too spicy for some family members but I can't blame that on the cooking pot! Overall I would highly recommend this product.

Use it for a year for soup. Keeps the soup warm.

Llegó super bien empaquetada, todo en perfecto estado. Se ve idética a la foto y es de muy buen tamaño, solo falta probarla.

I am happy with this purchase. It is a perfect size for 3 to 4 people. Good quality from Japan. I read review of many other pot that were cracked or chipped, but not this one. Although, I treat it with good care because it is expensive.
