Fits Dyson dc15 perfectly. Was going to buy a new vacuum but decided to just get a replacement hose and filter. Works like new again. The hose is thinner so it probably won't last over 10 years like the original. It was tight at first install but after several uses the extension slides down the hose easily. Easy to install. Filter replacement got rid of the musky smell. $30 saved my old vacuum

When my Dyson vacuum machine started acting up, I discovered the filter was clocgged and was pleased to find it available through Amazon. It was not expensive, easy to replace and solved the problem. They’re also easy to clean to extend their working life so win-win.
