Honestly I don’t know what I was expecting in texture when I ordered this. But it is like a thin layer of fabric stuffed with cotton. Even though it wasn’t the material I thought it was going to be, it’s still super nice and it worked well for my project.

The first thing I want to get out there right off the bat is that the yarn is much smaller in diameter than it appears in the pictures. It's diameter is only about 1/2 an inch (1.27 cm), and as such you will need to by more that the recommended amount listed on the product page. In my case that was twice as much. Besides that though, the yarn is very soft and peasant and seems well made. I also got it in two colors (dark gray and light gray, light gray not in the picture) and they were well dyed and pleasant colors. (again however, the pictures for this product are inaccurate and should not be relied on. Now the reason I gave this a 4 star review is because after my purchase the seller contacted me with very useful information and was quick and courteous in their responses. They seem like a genuinely decent person with a service oriented focus, despite the misleading product photos. As long as you're aware of the inaccurate product info, I would highly recommend this product.
